IGF linked to cancer??

Over at profesional muscle there are a few threads, supported by research claiming that IGF may cause cancer. Obviously IGF causes cell proliferation, and if you already have cancer, probably not a good idea. However, above normal igf levels apparently, in a few studies, greatly increase your risk of certain types of cancers. Like anything else, you can make statistics say whatever you want them to say, and long term high dosages may cause some problems.

Just curious to hear some of your opinions on this. Was thinking of going 25 mcg/day, 4 days/wk for 5 wks on and 5 wks off, or even the Palumbo method. At this dose, would any of you be concerned? Taking PWO at a lower doages should ensure that most of the igf is absorbed by the muscle correct?

if you dont have a history of cancer and what not in your family i wouldnt really worry as much...also i am finding smaller doses broken up into several applications a day are more effective (for me) gain wise....you can even if you are really worried do the protocol that is 3 days a week after you train large muscle groups applied the way i suggested...and use another peptide as well like mgf etc or something of the sort

anything that accelerates cell growth can/will lead to an increase risk of cancer. Cancer is a mutation, the more cells proliferate the higher your chance for cancer to occur. It's a plain and simple fact of basic physiology and unfortunately true
