Oh shit! I've always wondered what that must feel like aside from the pain, when it rolls up under your skin like that.

you can get it reattached i believe but it never looks the same again (also depends where the tear in the bi happens)

I cringe everytime I see muscle tears. Tearing your bicep ranks pretty high up on the list of things that you don't ever want to happen. It's right behind getting ass raped by a donkey in front of a large crowd as they point and laugh.

actually bigger from what drew has told us its not that bad to get assraped by a donkey so i think a bi tear or muscle tear is probably worse

My buddy did that working out about 8 months ago. Hes almost 100% now, he said it didnt hurt when he did it but hes a beast! It was the upper part that tore. Went to a great doc and is good as new. About 3 months recovery I think.

whats crazy is he did that doing deads. I know you use everything, but its just not something i would expect to see a bi- tear.

I can definitely believe it. Did you see his grip? Although, it gives you less chance of slipping it puts a huge strain on your bicep. Deadlifting anything over 600lbs I can feel my biceps pulling/straining. You see this more often with pulling exercises. It's a horrible injury to incur.

Yup Ive seen the exact thing happen to myself lol. Exact same sequence except not as much weight. I had a tiny tear in my long head on my right arm and was going for a little over 500 cant remember exactly going for 2 and the first went good. Second started out rough but i almost locked out very similar to what you saw and POP Mine ruptured from the top to bottom.

Norm the reason mine cant be fixed is it tore where the muscle and tendon connect and so imagine the tendon still connected but the actual muscle being torn. It can possibly be fixed but the tendon and muscle doesnt suture together and stay very well. So after rehab and all other things it would be about 50% success that it would stay attached after i started heavy again.

It still hurts quite a bit doing heavy reps and even talking on the phone. Imagine your arm with a huge cramp very easily and doing odd things. Its an eerie feeling and i hope i never lose another muscle like that again.
