igf-1 lr3 and 5x5 workout

im about to start a 5x5 workout mainly using compound excersizes to build strength and mass. I have a bunch of igf-1 lr3 left; would it help me get cut while on this program??? im 5'10 and around 165-170lbs with bf around 15-18% (not sure just an estimate at this time).
 
in my 6 weeks of IGF-1 I gained 3 lbs on the scale, and lost .5-1% bodyfat. I tried to use it to cut but my appetite was so strong I had to eat.
 
i guess im asking on my semi bulk and more of a strength gain.. will this allow me to maintain and/or reduce my current bodyfat level
