Job termination blows! *VENTING and SHIT*

And so last week I got fired from some shit THAT ISN"T TRUE from my job! Someone made a bullshit complaint against me and I never got to tell my side of the story! This Texas Workforce Commission, Department of Labor, Equal Opportunity Employer fuckers don't do shit to help you out in any way! Just give you a number to an Attorney hotline! WTF!

And also, this is VERY minor to some, but my Regional Manager (the one that terminated me) called a few weeks ago while I was working and while she was with my Manager and others at Corporate doing the Budget Reports and asks "How long ago did you work at the strip club LeBares", and that she "just wanted to see if I'm the stripper that gave her a lap dance back in the late 90's?" WTF ! First of all, I'm not that old! But isn't this sexual harassment from a supervisor? And also, earlier in the year one of her friends that works in our company sent a mass email to all our DFW Texas properties asking if she could just put me on the corner without a shirt on to help with marketing. Again, WTF!

Anyone feel this is sexual harassment? I have always walked on egg shells since they were hired earlier this year because for some reason my Regional didn't like me. Maybe because her best friend was one of my managers and didn't like me and would call me son of a bitch and shit behind my back amongst other things! And so I never made a complaint to HR because of fear I would lose my job, well up until last week when I did lose my job over BULLSHIT I called HR and no response yet on the sexual harassment! If a male supervisor asked this same shit to a chick, his ass would be facing serious disciplinary shit! I feel the remarks and questions from them were inappropriate and unwarranted! I'm looking for an Attorney but hard to do that shit while looking for a new job, and moving!

Need a good job in Dallas, TX! And Attorney too!

This is most defintely sexual harassment and it wouldn't fly at all if you were a woman. Sue their sexist asses. You are going to have a hard time because a> if you don't have any witnesses it will be your word against theirs and b> More importantly, you are a man and they automatically will be biased against you.

You're best hope is that they will attempt to settle out of court because most of the time corporations will not want the hassle of dealing with the legal system. The most important thing is that you need to follow through with all of the legal paperwork, and reports. Even if you need to do it yourself. At the very least file a report with the Employment department first and get well versed on all of the sexual harassment laws in your state. That way you have it on record about what happened.

The longer you wait the less likely you will be to win the case. Most laws are pretty strict on firing someone due on sexual harassment. Don't let it go bro. You deserve better.

She had my assistant Manager ask me because I was with someone while she waited on the phone, so my assistant will testify if it comes to that, and I have my assistant's proof on text also. As for the other, well it was a mass email, so lots of witness's. :suspect:

And I wasn't fired because of sexual harassment, but because a prospect said some bullshit. I do marketing and leasing for new luxury apartment homes and you need to present and leave with me a government issued ID or driver's license if you want to tour the property. Well she didn't want to give me any of her info or ID so I explained it's the law and company policy and I could not show her without ID and info. So she called and said that I did everything in my power not to show her. And so, I was terminated!

one problem is texas is a "right to work" state. You can get terminated for damn near anything.

another problem is IF you get your job back, you will be working for people who have a vendetta against you. They WILL find another way to get rid of you.

I thought about all of this when I lost my last job - because I wouldnt kiss my supervisors ass and he replaced me and alot of other people with his own family members!

I ended up finding another better job, and make alot more than my old supervisor. And when I see him again I will be sure to rub that shit in.
