This recipe is not for someone on a diet. I made it last night, thought id share cause its dynamite and i almost ate the whole thing in one sitting.

2lbs of ground sirloin
12 slices of turkey bacon
1 box of frozen chopped spinach
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 medium onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 eggs
1/2 cup of dry bread crumbs. (You could substitute with protein powder)
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
black pepper- just about 1/2 teaspoon.

To make:

chop onion and place in pan with olive oil. Cook for about 5 minutes, should be a little brown. chop up garlic and cook in pan with onions for about a minute. then take them off heat.

Cook your spinach according to directions. Place on clean surface. Take paper towel and remove all the moisture from the spinach you can.

In a large bowel add everything minus 10 pieces of bacon. Cut up the 2 pieces of bacon and Mix it together with all the other ingredients. take out a 9x13 glassware or pan (no need to coat), place about 5 pieces of bacon on the bottom. Put the meatloaf on top of the bacon. Try to form the meatloaf so that it only is about 2 inches high and square in the middle. Then place remaining 5 pieces of bacon over the top.

cook for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

there you have it. One protein bomb!!

Its very good. im trying different things. Right now, im trying to freeze and egg, then place it inside the meatloaf,so that when you cut into it.... You get that nice yoke all over. Hard boiled would be easy...

it also keeps well in the freezer. so you can just heat it up later. I cooked more up, and added jalapeno's to it. I love hot stuff, but i only added 1/4 cup to this cause i might want to share.

it is a good meal split up 3 ways with something else.

playing around with a tuna loaf tonight.

I think the meat load is freaking awesome. But man, its got a ton of fat and cholesterol in it. even with lean ground beef, its a lot. The turkey bacon too.

beef is still king.

but im trying ground turkey, mixed with turkey sausage tonight... just gets rid of the trans fats.

Something to try!!! take 1lb of ground turkey, 1lb of turkey sausage. to replace the 2lbs of ground beef. A real killer.... Take your favorite bbq sauce and coat the top with it for the last 30 minutes...

anyway... much less fat. F-ing loved it.

I love the turkey loaf even better than the meat loaf. Only problem is, turkey still has a lot of fat in it.

Still working on the tuna loaf. Just cant get rid of the fishy taste. Im using portabella mushrooms, and im getting closer... but its still not something to write home about.

yeah i made the meat loaf last night there is a ton of fat in that.
but its dam good food bro the wife not like it but f*&^K her she dont got to eat it right :finger:..lol
its the first time ive eaten anything like that, us london boyz like steak and chips and jelly eals...MMMMmmm not

Ok, tonight i took another crack at this.

1lb of ground turkey,
1lb of turkey sausage
1lb of tuna

this time i put in mushrooms, and celery, and covered the top with cheese...

its pure heaven.

lol normy and his loaf. Im gonna try it with just the lean like 96/4 turkey ground up. Crumble in some breadcrumbs or saltine crackers and try it like that. I think that would be pretty good just a little dryer. Ketchup can make anything taste pretty good though IMO.

Dude... grab yourself some protein powder for cooking. You can replace any recipe that uses a binder with it.

I use a half cup in my turkey loaf now, Its a protein bomb.

WHERE DO U GET THE PROTEIN POWDER FOR COOKING FROM IVE BEEN LOOKING AND CANT FIND ANY..
