I have been looking at a bunch of Flat Screen tvs to put into my home office and so far the best tv for the money seems to be the "Vizio" I am only looking for 26 inch to a 37 inch no bigger or smaller realy, anyone of these sizes will fit the office perfectly but I dont know much about "Vizio" other then "Ladanian Thomas" does their commercials, lol,

Can anyone shed some light on this tv or any other tv they think is a good tv for the price. Oh and i dont need the 1080 im just going with the 720p. but it has to be hd and must must be an LCD not plasma, I made the mistake of buying a 52" Zenith HD Plasma, and plasma sucks, so i defintly want an LCD for the office

they say lcd is better for a public area
but plasma is better for home use

i have a LG 720 42"plasma and it has a great picture I paid like $1000 last year

dude my zenith is plasma and 2 months from the time i bought it at circuit city it has a pixel burned out, very very small and barely noticble but in certain color situation on the tv u see a green spec where the pixel died, and again it was a brand new 52' zenith HD Plasma, and i knew better then to buy plasma but i got it on sale realy cheap, now i know why

I want an LG like u have they are very very nice, a bit more expensive then most other brands though, but i guess i get what u pay for, i thought Zenith was a quality name and mine has a burnt pixel after just months from being bought.

couldnt you return it

I heard vizio the best buy brand is decent quality and on the cheaper end

also i dont know if you did this or not but if you buy an HDMI cable it helps the picture alot

i have a cheap one but i heard it could get better with better hdmi cabel, and yes i could have returned the tv i guess, but its barely noticble, however i should have, cause now Circuit city went out of business across the entire country there will never be anymore circuit citys, only one left in canada, pretty sad and i cant return it now to a store that doesnt exist anymore,

yeah bro i keep hearing vizio is a good bang for ur buck like u said, i seen great deals at wal-mart believe it or not

yeah wal mart has good deals

also look at best buy on the opened item tv's
theyre brand new but you can save 10-20%

you can still warranty them too if you wish

i just bought a toshiba 32" LCD 720 for $450. Its pretty sweet, and HDMI is the way to go

thats a pretty decent price bro, i been going store to store pricing tvs for the home office and that price is a great price for a toshiba from what i have seen

the best price i seen was a new "vizio" 36' HD LCD 1080p it was called chocoalte or someshit i guess cause of the color scheme, but ofcourse it was not in stock, i would have had a tv 2 weeks ago if any of the good priced tvs were in stock, every time i go nothing is in stock thats worth a damn, last night i went to a new walmart which has unreal prices on great name tvs and before i even asked the guy to see a particular tv in stock or not he said they didnt have any 22" 26" 32" and only one brand in 36" was in stock and it was a "samsung" which was priced at 535$ but it was a dull black outline, and i want that shiny glossy black outline

anyways im having no luck finding a tv and the guys at walmart told me they never know when stock is comng in and they never know what is coming in, so its been impossible for me to find a good deal

You know Circuit City has everything on close out including TV's.
I was there last night and stocked up on DVD's.

yep and the sale prices sucked ass for all their tv's bro, i was last night also , its right nexdt to the walmart i was at for tvs also, i have been to circuit city 3 times now and still prices suck, but i just seen a tv commercial today stating they lowereed all tvs to 25% off where as last night they were maxed out at 20% off, anyways im heading to walmart again tonight

i looked at their close out sales too, and they did suck for tvs. It wasnt even a good deal, let alone a close out!

U try ordering the Vizio online from Wal-Mart and having it sent to the store. They will usually ship to any of their stores for free. For what I've heard Vizio is fantastic for the price....and moving up $500 on a TV won't really make enough difference in the picture/sound/etc...to make it worthwhile. But I don't one. I have a 30" Westinghouse LCD that I bought a long time ago when they were WAY to expensive.

i have a samsung 52'' a550 lcd. Its gorgeous. Paid like 1800 shipped for it brand new off amazon with a 3 year warranty. My second lcd from samsung and ill prob get another after this one.

My buddy runs a 37'' vizio 720p in his bedroom its looks great. They are good tv's for the money for sure.
Heres one for a pretty good price http://www.amazon.com/V-VIZIO-VX37L...?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1234046272&sr=8-13
You wont really need to pay extra for 1080p for your office its not like you will be watching blue rays etc while your in there or i wouldnt think so. That will be one of the few times you will actually be able to see the difference. Good luck homie.
heres another good price on a samsung

I prefer samsung over LG big time in the picture category. Just more crisp and clear.

Vizio actually won an award for a 37"LCD. I read that on PCworld magazine. I Preffer sharp Aquos which also won awards. Sharp worked with sony, mitsubishi ,LG and panasonic to create and revolutionize HD tv. Sharp anounced in 10 years 1080p will be low def because they already have the technology for up to ten times the definition but since everyone s on the 1080 boat they have to phase it in slowly.......

I have two sharps 37" and the picture rivals sony when I compared them side by side at the store using a blueray player and it was a few hundred cheaper. Now you can get them for around $500 online. In over a year I have no pixels burned and the TV's are on almost all day everyday. Plus they had plenty of HDMI cnnections.

I also connected a PC that has remote with vista to record programs and shit....... Check out Abesofmaine.com for the best prices online.

Well friday I bought a 37' Vizio HD LCD . I paid $692 total with taxes. Its ok I guess. I dont have an HD box yet so the picture isnt great until I go get another HD box. I have it in my home office and it looks ok. i am not real sure about it to be honest with ya

Take it back if your not sure about it........but maybe things will change when you hook it up to HD.

i think they are great tv's but for the money i would have gone with sharp samsung etc.
