I have been using gear on and off since 1999. I think the longest break I ever did was like 3-4months. It seemed like I was always had I little something in me. And if you name it, I am sure I have took it. So last week i went and got my blood work done just to see where I was, and also that i have gained alot of weight here lately. The Doc pulled 3 tubes of blood to do the test. So after 10 years of steroid use my blood work came back good to go. Everything was normal. And lets not forget that I am and was on when I had this done. 800mg Test/wk 750 Deca/wk GH, and Insulin, is what I am doing now and at the time of the test. :D

low "good" cholesterol is the only problem I ever see when I get tested.

I believe Presser had some pretty bad issues with that as well. Like I told him eat your cheerios. Someone also told me half an ounce of dark chocolate a day dropped his cholesterol 100 points in 45 days. I don't know abou that one, but hes an honest guy.

I know there are some good ways to try and raise your HDL levels (good cholesterol) without resorting to drugs from a doc like statins. The best ones are aerobic exercise. quit smoking or if u can't reduce the amount you smoke, cut out your trans fat consumption, increase your monosaturated fats, start a fiber supplement, cranberry juice, Omega-3's, and moderate alcohol (this is no more than 2-3 drinks/day or you start to see the reverse).

Some of these we already do with out lifestyles and others we may refrain from at certain times in order to tax our bodies less. Pick and choose the ones you want but there is some evidence for all of these to raise HDL levels, at least to a point.
