Vicodin affects on muscle?

Hey do you guys know if taking vicodin affects your muscles? like does its deteriorate muscle or maybe just slow muscle growth?

I do believe I have read on this board or another that any opiads like hydrocodone or oxycodone will hinder muscle growth!

I did hear that as well. that is deteriorates your muscle
Im sure if you need it for pain and take it a few times, no big deal
but people abuse the hell out of it

plus painkillers will destroy my appetite and make me nauseous too.
