Not for super low carb conscience. But good for those of you who are interested in fiber. I like to make these as a part of my breakfast meals.

3 cups of whole wheat flower.
1 package of dry yeast activator
1 cup of water
1 tbs of olive oil
honey (optional)
dried fruit-small (optional)
2 scoops of protein powder for cooking.(optional)

most yeast activates around 105-115 degrees. 110 is a good number. Take 1 cup of hot tap water. you need a gauge to read what temp the water is. Once the water hits 110- your ready. Add 110 deg water to a small pot with dry yeast activator. set to the side for 5 minutes.

in a large bowel add 3 cups of wheat flower, your protein mix, 1/2 tbs of oil, and dry fruit. at this stage, dont add anything with large amounts of sugar. The dried fruit will work, but honey, or chocolate chips, wont. It will effect the rising process of the bread.

after the yeast is activated, add to large bowel. put some flower on your hands. Mix with your hands till you get everything mixed together really well.

place some flower on the table, take flower out of bowel, and mead on table for a while. I like to use the palms of my hands. Usually i do this for about 2 to 3 minutes to make sure everything is mixed together well.

in a loaf pan, spread 1/2 tbs on sides so dough wont stick. place dough in loaf pan. cover with serand wrap and place in fridge. You can let it sit in the fridge for how ever long you want. It will continue to rise the longer you leave in the fridge. If you like your bread really fluffy, leave it in longer. I generally wait an hour.

at this point you want to add your honey (optional). Make little indentations in the bread so that it will hold the honey. It takes a bit more honey than you'd think. Id say 1/2 cup will really add the flavor into the bread.

cook in preheated oven at 375 for 35 minutes.

you can have a lot of fun with this, make small slices for bread sticks, or play around with the ingredient

That looks REALLY good. I like the idea of knowing exactly what you're eating because you made it yourself...

tomorrow im making one with walnuts and cranberries. Walnut is officially the best nut out there for you-health wise. And cranberries for the detox.

Use dried fruit when baking.

I like walnuts in my salad and sometimes in my homemade baked goods too. Flavored almonds are what's up though! Don't buy the Blue Diamond brand... especially vanilla bean or cinnamon sugar. Evil stuff... I think they sneak crack into the containers!
