how bad is shake and bake chicken???

For about the last 3 months, i have been addicted to it. I buy 5lbs of it (with bone) and eat the whole thing in one sitting once or twice a week.

I try not to eat the skin, but its still very fatty. Im wondering about the cholesterol mostly. It seems to be soaking in a oily/fatty pan.
 
I love Shake and Bake. I use it 90% of the time when I make chicken, espicially if it is the bone in kind. I don't see what could be bad about it?? Its just some flavored bread crumbs. Hell, I eat pizza almost every day too.... and a couple Chik Fil A chicken sandwiches with fries. Shake and bake is probably one of my healthier choices. But I also have perfect blood pressure (done at each monthly doc visit) and cholesterol (6 months).
 
The worst thing about Shake n Bake is the high sodium. Besides that and the extra carbs, its ok. I wouldnt eat it personally within 20 wks of a show, but if you arent competing, than have at it.

i love it as well sodium would be the only thing id worry about other then that your good.
 
4C makes an outstanding NO SALT ADDED bread crumb.. I use it everytime i make cutlets. For those trying to watch their sodium.
 
glad im not the only one about the shake n bake. Its like a crack addiction, im serious. Its one of the only things that i can eat and get more hungry as i keep eating it.
