Student Loans suck

I have 6 hours left on my degree and for some reason my fafsa got flagged and now I am stuck waiting on financial aid. I was hoping to be through by October and give myself a bachelor's for my 35th birthday.

Paying that back is gonna be a biatch!! I know a guy who has $85k in student loans and cannot find a job that pays worth a damn since he graduated.. Im kinda glad I went to community college now :)

BROTHER! i took out roughly 22k in loans over 6 years of full/part time schooling. Went to a private college, and i actually got off relatively easily, had my entire tuition completely covered plus i qualified for financial aid. In the end though i ended up with a BA in history of all things!! My arms and hand are completely covered in tattoos, and i hate other peoples children so i will never be a teacher. Anyways my loans come out to about 350 a month, but i recently got them lowered to around 150. IF i could have done it all over again, i would have done a tour of duty in the Marine Corp, and used the GI bill and become a physical therapist assistant. I think for now ill stick it out at UPS, i like hard work!!

MY WIFE OWES CLOSE TO 60k$ SHE WENT TO RUTGERS AND GOT HER BA AND THEN WENT BACK AND GOT HER MASTERS DEGREE, SHE IS A TEACHER NOW FOR 6 YEARS WITH "TENURE" THANK GOD, WITH GREAT BENEFITS FOR HER AND MYSELF!

AND WHEN WE GOT BEHIND TWO YEARS AGO THEY TOOK THE MONEY SHE WAS BEHIND IN PAYING OUT OF OUR JOINT INCOME TAX RETURN,LMAO, TALK ABOUT A SLAP IN THE FACE, WE PAID EXTRA TO HAVE THE TAX RETURN BACK IN TWO WEEKS, AND ALL WE GOT BACK WAS A LETTER TO CALL THE 'IRS" I WAS AFRAID IT WAS SOMETHING REAL BAD LIKE AN AUDIT, AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE FOR HER STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS THAT WERE IN AREARS,LOL.

NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DIDNT GO ON THE VACATION WE WANTED TO WITH THE TAX RETURN,LOL

Yup paying for school sucks. I had to put 3 semesters on my credit cards long story but now im 7.5k in debt and still not finished. Sucks im taking this semester off and trying to get most of it paid off. Fingers crossed.

It does suck. I've got 8k in loans and am 1 semester from my Masters. I also work 50-60 hours a week and I'm going for my PhD. My joint tax returns have been audited for 2 years where my ex made up BS and filed them. All the issues are on her side but they still think I'm going to pay the 4K. I can't remember how many times I've told them to F*** off. Its her shit! Get it from her!! Where's my money Obama!! That's part of why I'm getting the PhD. I make good money now, but I work for it. With my experience, training, and a PhD, I'll be able to make 100,000 plus anywhere working 40 or less hours a week. Sucks in the meantime, but I'm only 29.

Just make sure you study something that will pay off afterwards. I don't see while people take out loans then go to school for art or something.

One of the reason's why i went straight into work without going to Uni and getting into debt. I am fully qualified in my IT job, so i guess im just lucky the way i went about it.
