Scary moment this weekend.

We had a birthday party for my two kids this weekend and had about 15 kids under 10 at my house. My brother and I were inside cooking fish and the we heard a screech. It was my brothers three year old. I go outside and a pit bull is trying to bite my son and his little chihuahua/tshitzu puppy and he is holoding the puppy so the pit can't get it. He gets biten in the process. I grabbed the dog and choked it via rear naked choke no kidding and held it not knowing what to do with it. I had no bullets for my gun (I know dumb). I finally threw the dog about ten feet away and it hit the ground and then ran off. Scared the crap out of me.

well who's pitbull was it? you need to take it up with the owner-bad ownership on their part

if it's a stray call animal control

yeah call animal control for sure did you get your son to the doc to get tested for stuff? If not do it asap just for good measure there is no cure for rabies once it sets in as far as im aware if you catch it early though its fine.

Thats what they said on quarantine. No cure. It was scary too since the dog was foaming. He was foaming in excitement about eating my son's dog I suspect.

My kid got bit once, by the neighbors dog. The ASPCA came out, took the dog, requested my medical bills to give to the owner, then after about 3 months, I think it was, they got their dog back and had to have a special license for it, and had to put signs up on their property stating they had a dangerous dog. From what I understand, the fee to obtain that special license is pretty steep.

im not a fan of pits, and im sure it had an irresponsible owner somewhere nearby. ive almost had to kill a couple myself.

Damn man, I hope your son is OK. Here an animal that displays those characteristics is labeled "vicious" and is put down period. One comes near me in an aggressive manner and it dies of lead poisoning, that being said I've come in contact with more sweet ones than vicious ones. They are the dog of choice in the ghetto's so they roam around all the time due to the neglect of the owners. Its sad. I'm still not 100% convinced its the breed though.

^^ I totally agree....this chick I used to bone had a pitbull....used to give me funny looks when I'd go take a piss or somethin n I was scared as shit to walk aroun nude around tht thing mite take my boner for an italian sausage lol long story short he always found SOME WAY to end up in the room while we were gettin it on...i think she planned it like that lmao

I dont know where you live, but around here if anyone is caught with a pit NOT on a leash, its a hefty fine. I would seriously find out who's dog it is and address it with them immediately. Your kid could have gotten seriously hurt or even killed in the process. Wouldn't be the first time.

This is more the owners fault than the dogs. When you have a dog no matter what breed it is, you are responsible for that dog and it's actions. Pits act the way they were raised. So if dumb shit gets a pit treats it like shit and turns the dog aggresive it is the owners fault not the dogs. The pitbull's biggest downfall is its will to want its master to love and be proude of them. So if you fight your dogs or any other dumbshit, that's what they think makes you happy. I have 2 pits, and they are by far and away the best dogs I have EVER had. I hate to hear about someones child being hurt due to an dog owners ignorance and mistreatment. I realy do hope you find the owner and beat his fucking ass!!!!:curse:

You wouldn't stand a chance against a pit unless you had a gun in your hand. The dog he was desribing was obv. a game dog and the only way a game dog will stop is by death. Hence the saying DEAD GAME. He actualy got lucky the dog didn't turn on him. But hey, when your child is in danger you do what you gotta do to protect your child..
