...dude i noticed that when we worked out before...i had actually never seen them before...it was kinda weird at first but weight is weight...at my gym it is iron tho...

We have rubber and I like'em ok.. but then again I don't have a choice and it works well with the rubber room they put me in too..

my wife has a set of the nyopremuim??? ones.. they're cool.. the rubber ones alway back my hands sweet to much or something like that.. iron cool and easy to hold on too

my wifes??? they are iron that have been wrapped in scuba drivers suit materal.. they are soft and and she says they don't hurt her hands.. LOL........Tiny, I'm not sure where you find some of this stuff....but it is pretty funny.

I don't think I have even ever seen rubber dumbells.....I like to hear them clank around.

Brand new gym, containing mostly ancient equipment, some of which appears to have been recovered from Afghan caves. But they have the new rubber dumbbells!!  The weight is off by minus 3-5 pounds.  I know the 90's are 87 lbs each. I do, however, like the shaped metal handles, they fit my hand very well.
