can someone tell me how the hell i ....

take a screenpic of my entire desktop... in winXP..? (picture of the entire screen... (from start menu to the current website/program i'm using ..)

Hold down the shift key and press the print screen key (upper right usually the 3rd key in) at the same time. This will capture your window screen exactly as it appears on your monitor to the to the windows clip board. Once the it is in the windows clipboard you can go to the application you want to paste the picture in  like Microsoft Power Point,  Word , Photoshop etc… , click with the mouse where you want the picture copied to and hit the ctrl and the v key at the same time. You can also use the edit, paste commands if you are more familiar pasting things that way.
