daughter has swine flu

she started getting a fever yesterday (101.3), so we took her in. Turns out she has swine flu. Doctor said its no big deal really, gave us some meds, said she will be down for about 5 days.

Now the trick is not to get it myself.

Hope everything turns out ok for you and your daughter. Swine is pretty bad, but I don't believe it is as serious as the media has made it. Lot's of fluids and meds and she will be fine.:thumbsup:

atleast you guys caught it early for her! Not to scare ya but we have had a few schools closed down completly out here for swine flu and a teenage male just died from it

I guess catching it early is key. Its really not that bad though. She has a cough and is very tired- thats it.

wish her a speedy recovery bro if they get her on tamaflu that shit works within a couple of days for the swine flu. As long as you treat it its not that bigga deal. Its when your old and dont have an immune system or you dont treat it it can really get bad. Hope you dont get it too bro load up on the vitamin C.

I heard that's what they're giving everyone who has it. It's not that big of a deal as everyone is making it out to be. It's been diagnosed and she's being treated... she'll be fine! Sending her lots of well wishes! How old is she?
