The back-and-forth about a fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Brock Lesnar continues, with the latest shot coming from M-1 Global USA vice president Jerry Millen. Millen recently stated that they would be willing to have Fedor go five rounds with Brock Lesnar for free.

"If these guys in the UFC truly wanted to fight Fedor, they'd find a way," Millen recently told MMAjunkie.com Radio. "Come to his training camp. Come to Stary Oskol, and we'll do three, five-minute rounds in the ring or the cage. We'll do it for fun.

"If you really want to fight him for competition, and it's not about the money for the guys in the UFC, then tell Brock Lesnar to jump his ass on a plane, take a train, and come to Stary Oskol. If these guys really want to fight Fedor, then come to Stary Oskol and lets get it on there for no money."

Many UFC officials, including President Dana White, have mocked Fedor for not signing with the UFC because they say he is trying to keep his nearly flawless MMA record in check by not fighting tough competitors like Lesnar. Fedor’s camp says the statement is not true, citing the UFC organization as the problem.

"When you sign with the UFC, most guys sign their soul away," Millen stated. "Fedor doesn't have to sign his soul away, number one, because he's at the top of the game, and he's doing very well without signing with the UFC. So he doesn't have to sell his soul. He's the kind of guy that won't sell his soul.

"I get so sick of hearing, 'Oh, he's afraid,” he continued. "That's the biggest bunch of crap I've ever heard. [Emelianenko"> is an athlete. He's not afraid of somebody beating him up. He gets punched in the face all the time. What would he be afraid of? Losing? He's not afraid to lose. He's at peace with losing. That's all bull."

its only a matter of time till they met, i just hope by that time fedor isnt like 80 years old

I like Fedor for this reason, he's one of the few athletes out there that doesn't do this for money, but for the love of the sport...I hope Lesnar and the shitty UFC take him up on this offer, but I am not holding my breath. The more I hear about the UFC internally, the more I dislike the way that the organization does business...
couldnt agree with you more!

I just read on MMA linker that Lesnar might be over...

Dana White said that he colapsed in Canada and when they ran tests, that aside from the mono, that there is something else seriously wrong with Lesnar and they were not at liberty to say at this time

I totaly understund UFC not co-promoting with anyone. WOuld not make any sence. But Fedor has 3 fight deal with M-1 and at the time M-1 says where Fedor fights. And could you people really say that UFC could hand him any better competiton that Strikeforce can. Strikeforce has 3 good opponents for Fedor and after that he is free from the M-1 one deal. ANd who knows what happens then.COmon guys its one more year.
