Forget the fact that these poor men and women are fighting for our country on the other side of a big ass pond, thousands of miles from their families and the families they are fighting to protect... but then something like this happens and everyone forgets the sacrifices and just wants to put them on the cross... it isn't right...

"pussyfication" is not a ligitimate label. Perhaps in a trailer park somewher out it pits of Florida that might work. But to a reasoble person, one can easily see the ideological implications behind the motivation to prosecute troops for alleged war crimes such as the one discussed. Where is this push comeing from? You got it: the LEFT.

I agree. It is our governments fault. They want troops and other people risking their lives for the safety of our society and if the utter the wrong combination of words.... words used commonly by the criminals they are sent after, they become the #1 target of our government. Criminals have all the rights we were supposed to have.

nothing will happen, no navy seal is going to jail for a punch to the gut that did not injure the person....this is all media propaganda to make other countries think were 100% legit by the book over there. My boy killed a 8 year old and his family cause they were all strapped with explosives, than to be safe blew the explosives up strapped to them to prevent US casualties, than after that kicked around the scum bag terrorist body parts as if they were soccer balls. I highly doubt this guy will get in any trouble at all.

That's a good point. I've seen a lot of video footage from troops but I never put two and two together; that they are protecting their asses

I asked a couple childhood friends who are NYPD- they say that a punch to the gut is the hardest to prove cause it shows little damage outside, and you cant prove that if anything inside is damaged it wasnt before without a pre-assault exploratory surgery, and you have to have at least several uninterested parties as witnesses. Their guess is that this is media appeasing the foreign nations. My guess is the charge is dropped on legal venue. I MEAN REALLY. SEALs know their job includes violence. We know that. Why would anyone be actually shocked that they might have to perform duties included in their job description? For fck's sake, SEAL teams operate under the command of the Naval Special WARFARE Groups.
