Goals and Expectations

My wife is always bitching at me about the goals and expectations that I set for myself. She is always telling me that I set my goals so high I end up nearly killing myself trying to meet them. I usually end up meeting the goals that I set so I seel them as realistic. I just feel that you should put everything you have into whatever you do be it work, fitness or whatever. I am intensely competitive and a very driven person.

I just wonder given the nature of the forum if others here feel or act the same way.

i map my goals out the first of ever month.. personal and training goals.. i'm a little different from what you do.. i make some goal so easy to do that it makes me feel good just to mark them off as done.. other ones i have to work alot harder of finish and every now and then i list a goal that i know can't be done in a time frame but then it just goes to next month and gets finished then.. this way i'm always tring to do more..

I have long and short term goals. Some might think they are high, but I do not. I know I can meet them, or I wouldn't have made them in the first place. My long term goal is walking onstage at 240 by the time I am 41, which is just over 3 years. When that happens I will stop using AAS altogether and go natural. That is a promise I made to myself and to Dez. I am competing at 198 this year, so only 40 more lbs to go, lol. Later
