The government is really watching you if you are talking about Obama

The friend I mentioned earlier who works law enforcement for wildlife and fisheries told me another interesting story. He said his boss over the state of Louisiana had a meeting the other day. It wasn't to tell them how they were doing or give them direction on their jobs it was to tell them to report anything they hear that is negatively said about Obama. Scary stuff to me. This guy is totally telling the truth. Game wardens were requested to report obama criticism.

That doesnt surprise me at all. Land of the free huh, not for much longer.

The person in office does have leeway to try and turn things around though. Unfortunately they can also make things worse by implementing programs which just enhance the current problems, which is what Obama wants to do. Granted there are some things on the horizon which should never have even been considered (Universal Heath Care, Cap And Trade, etc), but with a president that believed in the constitution, and one who would elect moral and honorable memers to his staff we could turn things around. The problem is that America is apathetic, we are slowly giving control of our lives to the government and it's a slow enough pace that we won't realize what we've done until it's too late. They say the seven stages of government are cyclical, and they read like this:

Bondage -> Revolution -> Freedom -> Prosperity -> Compacency -> Apathy -> Dependence -> Back into bondage

Where would you say the US is? I'd put us firmly between Apath and Dependence.

Me too. I think it does matter some who is in office because it matters who the push groups are that have put money into their campaign. Obama won't salute the flag and I have a real problem with anyone who doesn't care about the sacrifices vets have made. He doesn't mind bowing before Muslim kings or leaders but won't even salute the flag of the country he represents. I agree we are heading downhill but remember the media doesn't tell us the whole story either.

I trust me i know it matters but from what ive seen so far hes not gonna do anything to turn shit around so thats the reason i stopped caring. Nothing i can do about it so just riding out the storm seeing where i end up.

3 weeks ago a crazy guy in a mental treatment facility made threats that he was going to kill Obama, his wife, and kids to staff. Secret Service was there in 5 minutes and took him!!
