View Full Version : Adding t3 to a mass gaining cycle

I want to add t3 to my next cycle to increase my results, but I am not sure what dosage to take because I do not want so much that I inhibit my mass gains if I can help it. I do not have my cycle planned out 100% but it is gonna be something like this:
Weeks1-5: 1g test enanthate/wk, 125mg prop ED, 50mgdbol ED
Weeks6-10: 1g test enanthate/wk, 75mg fina ED

Can anyone suggest a t3 dosage to help me gain mass and what weeks would u use it(weeks 1-5, 6-10, or all 10 weeks at low dosage)? I have used t3 before for cutting and cycled up to 200mcg ED(alot i know) and then back down over six week period and had no probs.,,,thanks,,,bigjosh

i am not sure what you want to accomplish with the t3.  if it is to gain more muscle, then maybe just take 12.5mcg a day.  this will help you make better use of the food you eat which will help you gain.  it will also not affect your thyroid so you won't have to worry about a rebound effect.

T3 increases the amount of SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) in your blood, which in turn brings up the amount of free testosterone (and other AAS) that is able to act on a cellular level. So, at low doses it works well when bulking. I would stay at or below 25mcg per day, and use it for no longer than 6-8 weeks. It will also help with protien metabolism, and keep your Bf down to managable levels. Good luck, Later

I understand the SHBG concept, but if you're on test already, then isn't that really a non-issue?  Doesn't any artificial androgen source promote SHBG?

i think that the t3 can work synergistically with the gear.  btw that is a hell of a lot of gear.  1g/wk and 50mg/ed?  have you experimented with lower doses.  i can get great gains using moderate doses and no stacking.  give it a thought.

I may experiment with lower dosages,,,but on my last cycle i was doing 500mg of test a week and only got about 10 pounds in eight weeks.  The cycle before that however gave me 46 pounds and i was on 1.75-1.5grams of test a week, which is alot I know considerring I'm not that big.  I guess my body just isn't that sensitive to lower dosages.  I honestly can barely notice test below 500mg/wk and I love the feeling of being on a bunch of test!

I may take your advice though cuz most people get tons off of 500mg/wk.  Perhaps my last batch of test wasn't that good (it did give me gyno though,,,lol).  Thanks for the input though.

Josh...I think from reading your post and checking out your pics that your main concern should be RETAINING your gains after your cycle. If you have gained 56lbs in the last 2 cycles..then you must have been pretty small when you started. You obviously know your own body better than I but I can't see someone your size needing that much test (1g+) a week.
A 46lb gain is enormous..I am thinking that most of it must have been water weight and was lost post cycle. As for the 10lb gain on the other cycle...I bet you retained all of that one bro. Don't think of it in quantity...think of it in quality.
I would much rather gain 10-15lbs of keepable gains per cycle than 40+ that I am going to lose 80%.
As for your cycle bro...I would run Test Enanthate around 600-800mg a week thru out. I don't really understand the Prop since you are already running the D-bol in the beggining. I would also run the Tren from day 1. You train hard and eat like a horse bro...you should put on some nice muscle mass....good luck!   Oh yeah and as for the T-3 if you want to keep some of that extra chub off...I would ramp it up to 100mcg for 8 weeks and back down. I am done with this exact dosing tommorow...but I am cutting.............456

I have actually RETAINED more gains than anyone I know mr456. I consider that cycle to have produced QUALITY GAINS. Perhaps I may gain as much with a lesser dosage, but out of those 46 pounds that I gained I kept 40 of them. Only lost 6 pounds and that cycle ended 11 months ago. I always take clomid for at least a month post cycle and have never "crashed" like everyone else dose. I believe that I do know what I am doing(still learning though) . And most of that 40 pounds was muscle weight and I got pics to prove it and my current weight to back it up I&#39;ve actually gained weight since my last cycle and I&#39;ve been clean for 4.5 months,,,bigjosh :)

What was your weight previous to your 46lb gain 2 cycles ago? I assume 150lbs? &nbsp;Keeping 40 of 46lbs is an excellent amount of retention.....I am not trying to argue bro..but I have a real hard time believing that most of that 46lbs was muscle. I could be wrong..but to have those kinds of gains in one cycle and not have it be water weight or bloat is pretty rare. I&#39;m not saying it can&#39;t be done..just not really commonplace......who knows..maybe your a genetic freak&#33; :D ...........456

even try t4 which is converted to t3, if u stay below 125mcg of tetroxin u can ease less t3 conversion but still have increased protein synthesis&#33;
