I'm Confused and it doesn't happen often.. BUT I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT... AS FAR AS HOW IT PERTAINS TO BODYBUILDING.. YAH I KNOW IT CAN BE USED FOR PEOPLE SUFFERING WITH DIABETES.. But Where can you read up on it for it's application in Bodybuilding.. because I have searched on here.. and many other boards.. and I am pretty freaking knowledgable when it comes to anything related to AAS.. and I take GH myself..and other Peptides.. but never INSULIN but Say I want to consider INSULIN, where do I read up on how to accurately use a Blood Glucose Monitor.. how do I know what's abnormal.. how do I know when to use the slin.. how do I know what to do if there is an abnormal reading.. if there is an article out there that exists that depicts all this.. That would be great. I think it's time to give slin it's worth time due in study, OBVIOUSLY I will NEVER EVER Touch it until I know for certain I can run it correctly and safely so I don't harm/KILL myself.. But I want to start learning and there really isn't a starting point as far as I can tell from a BODYBUILDER's prospective.. yah you google insulin.. it gives ya shopping results and the history of being a diabetic and blah blah blah...

I need the proper material on where I can learn this for myself so I can incorporate it at some point in the next 15months of bulking.. so I can break my plateau into the SUPER HEAVIES....

Thanks for any help in pointing me in the right direction...

I don't know of any legitimate documented literature for its use in that manner, but I'm pretty familiar with it. The old 10g of carbs per iu is way overkill in my experience. I usually do 50g of carbs with my protein shake postworkout with 8 -10 iu. You have to start small and post workout and get a feel for it. Humalin R is much easier to learn with than the faster acting Humalog. A lot of big boys do it first thing in the morning and again post workout. I started with 3 iu subcutaneous. Intramuscular allows for faster response. No fat and as much protein as possible along with enough carbs to refill muscle gluose and keep you from going hypo, its a very thin line otherwise it will pile a layer of stubborn fat on you.

I can tell you that a glucose monitor is good to have even off insulin. The norm is somewhere around 70- about 160 if you have just taken in a bunch of simple carbs. Anything below 70 and you are going to show hypo signs and about 160 and you will notice some effects as well. I have never taken insulin and probably never will due to the fact that I have hypo issues anyway and I produce too much insulin, but with that said it really is a type of transport unit. It would take me tons of time to explain that but the best bet for you is to get say a college physiology book or even a biology book and look into the krebbs cycle and how atp is formed as well as carbohydrate and protein synthesis.

Same here. The only way to learn it is to study the boards and user's experiences. Get to know it by heart. Then, if you decide to do it, you start out slowly so you can gauge your own body's response because it will most likely be different than everyone else's. That's where you start applying the knowledge you've learned and tweak it for your own body. That's pretty much what I did.

Nah, just trying to do as much research as I can right now.. My shoulder is feeling GREAT .. not perfect but i think it just got overstretched.. i can move.. little bit of pain.. but i should be able to resume training soon.. I never stopped taking any of my cycle compounds... because i knew it wouldn't turn out to be a huge thing.. so I am just rocking the cycle.. going to the gym tomorrow.. doing a legs day.. giving my shoulder 2 more solid days of rest and I should be ok !!

Just to be sure, I jumped my GH Dose up.. to speed up any possible injury healing properties it has.. But I seriously think I adverted a complete and utter destructive tragedy... THANK GOD!!
