Brock will fight again

Though he may not fight again this year, UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar “will fight again,” according to his trainer, Marty Morgan, who provided the update in a speech at “The Clash” wrestling tournament in Minnesota.

[Lesnar] had a bout with a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract in November and now we’re working our way back to where we need to get back to to fight,” said Morgan. “I don’t give more answers than that, Brock doesn’t give more answers, and his agents don’t give more answers. There’s only a handful of people that know where we’re at. We’ve always just kept quiet with what’s going on. He will fight again, I know that. It’s just a matter of the public finding out when.”

On Thursday, UFC President Dana White had “no comment” on Lesnar’s status."

I hope so giving him the opportunity to win it back of course once he gets back to where he needs to be but this is stupid not having a real heavyweight champion when he cant defend the title.

i think they ll def let him have the match with the current (or soon to be camp) when hes back to normal

Good... I look forward to seeing who will be the one to wreck his winning streak and bring him some humility!

Glad he's okay enough to return to fighting though. I don't like the guy as a fighter, but as a person, I wouldn't wish ill will on him.

I hope he gets well soon so someone can beat the crap out of him. I think most of it is show, but he still annoys the crap out of me. I say this all the time but I really really want to see him and Lashley eventually tie up. I would like to see him and Overeem tie up as well. Overeem looks 5 pounds bigger every month and by the time brock is back they oughta be the same size. Overeem hasn't fought in the us in forever because they could pop him with a gear test but his striking is insane and hes strong and huge as well. Brock may beat him to a pulp, but I think Overeem or Lashley would be good fights. I also suspect we will see another Interim and then they will use that to promote the fight for the unified champ around the beginning of next year. Lets see if Im a prophet.

Yeah I kind of like the guy too. I want to see him manhandle some more people. I can't imagine him bouncing back so soon though.

I really don't think that the guy is that big of an asshole, pretty sure that Dana White, just "encourages" him to act that way to sell tickets and it works!

you watch some of his interviews and the guy does have his moments but for the most part, he just wants to fight, make money and provide for his family...can't really argue with that.

Still wish the Carwin/Lesnar fight would have happened, only fight I really wanted to see all year...not to say there wasn't some good fights though.

Like I said I know its encouraged. It is a sad trend that they are heading down the wwe route and focusing on hype so much. Its nice to watch fights like Diaz/Maynard the other night, where they really want to beat the crap out of each other but then when its over they are humble and congratulate the winner. Fighting, well martial arts, are about humility and honor.
