A famed strongman who once lifted 3,200 pounds at Coney Island during its heyday and was still bending quarters with his fingers at age 104 died Monday after he was hit by a minivan.

Joe Rollino was struck as he crossed a major street in Brooklyn, and suffered a broken pelvis, head trauma and broken ribs. He died a few hours later at an area hospital.

Police said the driver was going the speed limit and had not been drinking. No criminality is suspected, but the driver was issued a summons for a defective horn.

At Rollino's birthday party last year, Spanakos gave him a quarter, and Rollino bent it between his fingers.

"And you know what, he apologized. He said he used to be able to do it with a dime."

Holy Crap!!! 104yrs old. Bending quarter?! That just goes to show that our lifestyles should be looked up to instead of shunned as if we were circus freak. RIP, old Strongman.

104 years. You may think Im crazy but I love to sit and listen to people that are 75 and up. Man they can tell you some great stories about how life was, the war, and its crazy to think they were around that long ago.

....but figures the guy has such a great life, lives to 104..... and gets it by a freakin car, just unreal.... THAT does him in

yeah that sucks who knows if he would have made it several more years now. This just proves this lifestyle isnt what the media plays it out to be. A 104 year old bending a quarter is insane. RIP.
