Chuck Liddell fighting Rich Franklin; Oritz out

Chuck Liddell will be fighting Rich Franklin in his next bout and not rival TUF 11 coach Tito Ortiz, Fighters Only has heard from a reliable source. The switch was initially reported to us just under two weeks ago but was only a rumour at that time.

However, the rumour hit message boards late last night and an industry source confirmed that Liddell will indeed be facing former middleweight champion Rich Franklin. The fight is to headline an April 17th Fight Night event which will counter Strikeforce's show on the same date.

April 17th? Huh?? TUF won't even be over yet and it doesn't make sense... the coaches are supposed to fight, this is BS! First Rashad and Rampage and now this! I like Liddell and Franklin... how am I supposed to pick a side now?

Thats cuz Tito is a big P! Good match up for Chuck, does Franklin really wanna stand with him.

I dunno. I suspect the loser is in trouble as far as the UFC goes. Chuck has been hanging by a thread for a while and Rick (who is one of the coolest guys I have ever met) just can't beat Anderson and is a little too small for 205 in my opinion. Like I said before. I stood by him at 228 and I looked like a monster.

Tito woke up and realized he sucks lol. I think Chucks gonna get beat in this one. Franklin has been looking great lately.
