im a shoe addict all day and i wonder what sneakers you like to train in. i like new balance for leg day but the rest of the week i wear shox or pumas.

Reebok just made some for women that simulate walking in sand, they work your calves, hams and butt while you're walking. My calves are always sore when I wear these sneakers after I do cardio. They're making shoes now for weight lifting too, I don't know if for men as well, but for women for sure.

I have some cheap crap I bought at a shoe discount chain, but it works for now.

On everyday but leg day (because I can't balance right if I wear them), I'll rock my sketchers shape ups... BUT... I got them because I'm not a sneaker person (I live in boots! platform ones!!) but I thought they were cute for actually wearing out if I want to throw something on quick. They definitely do NOT work the way they claim to do, which is fine for me because that's what I lift at the gym for...

It's funny how many people have seen them on me and stopped to ask me if they "work". No, you lazy fat ass. They do NOT work. Go to the gym if you want to lose your jiggle, don't expect that walking around in sneakers will magically make you "toned".

I don't know about those Reebok ones... maybe they're different, but I highly doubt its enough to make a big difference. Diet and exercise baby, diet and exercise...

Oh for freaking sure they don't work miracles I agree! Diet and lifting and cardio allllll the way. But my calves have gotten bigger since wearing them. Dunno if that's the shoe or just training. They for sure do NOT tone just walking in them if you're not busting your ass doing everything else!

Exactly. If only everyone understood that. I absolutely LOATHE the sketchers commercial because it has customer "testimonials" and one of them is "i hate going to the gym, but i LOVE my sketchers!" It's so misleading and then everyone thinks they can take the easy way out. Umm, there is no EASY way! You gotta do work, son... do work! ;)

Mine are cute though... black with silver accents. I love them... but only because I'm smart enough not to fall for the company's marketing scheme, hehe.

my girl thought the easy tone reeboks were gonna change her too. when i started getting kinda big my girl signed up for the gym and was all gung ho about training. the thing is that shes hot already but the dude at the gym was trying to talk her into doing a show. the moral of the story is: the dude at the gym just wanted some fine ass girl representing his gym at the show and my girl just wanted to come to the gym for a couple of months to block any potential ass from sitting on my lap. once she made damn sure everyone knew she was my girl she quit the gym and was gonna buy the reebok shoes for a good "pump" while she worked. shits crazy

Good thing you've got a hot chick then... it takes alot of work for me to maintain myself. I LOVE training and would hate to not go to the gym, but I do have my moments where I envy people who look great without all the effort. But yeah, those shoes... :nope: They're for fashion only, lol.

Nike Running Shoes. I have never had a different brand of running shoes in the past 20 years. They are comfortable and fit my feet. Stylish also.

Honestly sometimes I work out in Workboots.. Comfortable.. stable.. and just plain defines who I am as a person... Haven't given much thought into actually getting a shoe that I'd specify to designate as a "GYM SHOE".. I just grab whatever is handy at the time...

Shox. I won't wear anything else. Those things fit like they were made for my feet. They are the only things keeping my knees together.

Nike Free's 7.o, I had them custom made, I'm a loser I know lol!!! But I love shoes and they are so comfortable to lift in.....not to mention they look bad @$$, I need to take a pic.

I use the Pumas as well..great grip for legs on certain machines. I will wear running shoes when and if I run on the treadmill, but besides that Pumas all day.

I wear Shox. They're not the greatest but I don't have to money to buy anything else right now. I would love to train barefoot. I've seen Arnold do that in a few videos. The next pair I buy will be training shoes, something with as little 'support' as possible.

Another guy in Shox here. They aren't the most comfortable shoes that I own, but they give me great support where I need it and are very stable.
