Health insurance bill = passed

Everybody is required to have health insurance or receive a fine. Looks like im going to instead of being broke , be in debt and in jail for the rest of my life.

What a clusterfuck this administration is. They love changing the rules to suit their needs, not caring how it effects anyone else in the country. Our govt really needs to be overthrown, and we need to start from scratch.

I'm down. This country and its laws are shit!! They are making criminals out of everyone who provides the revenue this country lives on!! I'm fucking sick of it. I work my ass off and have nothing to show for it after taxes, all the insurances, social security, etc... then at the end of the year the IRS says I owe money!! I claim 1!! Am I not real??!! Do I not depend on my salary to live!! They don't get that if the shit hits the fan the public and the various armed forces tasked with enforcing these laws WILL BE ON THE SAME SIDE!! I hope those old greedy bastards are damn good in tactical situations. I know I am as are several hundred of my friends who feel the same way.

Well i have to be honest I dont know all the fact for each sides arguments on this bill, so i couldnt make an educated opinion to be honest. Im always extremely current on whats going on in congress,white house, and politics in general, however I will say this i honestly dont know the ins and outs of this bill and all i keep hearing are both sides twisting the story in their favor so i cant go by that shit,lol.

So please someone tell me why is this a bad things, or why is it a good thing

Ive been looking to find exceptions to who doesnt need to have health insurance but havent found anything yet.. But will continue.

HOWEVER , people at the bottom bracket of income they have to pay health insurance REGARDLESS of whether they are a healthy individual who takes care of themselves.

I FIND THAT COMPLETE BULLSHIT.... personally I havent been to a hospital other than being born. Im dead serious.... So if you force me to have to have health insurance SUCK A DICK.

IT COSTS MORE OVER YOUR LIFETIME TO PAY FOR INSURANCE FOR THE THINGS YOU NEED FIXED , Than to pay out of your pocket when things come up if you save that money instead of paying insurance with it. ITS PROVEN..... Unless your just one fucked up individual who fucks things up all the time to start with. Then your rates go up to where you still lose money out of it.

Presser, the bill is almost 3,000 pages long. I dont think the guys who voted have read the whole thing.

i'm gonna pay the fine, but from my understanding having to have mandatory insurance doesn't actually go into effect for 4-6 years.....i may have a better job by then so i can afford any insurance then.....

The bill is bad because it mandates Americans to buy Insurance from a private Ins Company and if you Choose not to the govt is going to fine you. The IRS is going to be the enforcer of the program and we all know how scared the average American is of the IRS. This is clearly Unconstitutional and why SEVERAL State Attorney Generals are Sueing the federal govt.

Second it MAKES insurance companies take people with preexisting conditions. This in itself is going to drive up Health Care Costs beyond anyone's imagination. BUT if you choose not to have insurance and just pay the fine you can wait until you get cancer and then buy insurance and the ins company has to provide you insurance. This is like waiting until after the car wreck to buy collision insurance and expecting GEICO to fix you car. Its Madness and will again drive up cost.

This is just the first small step in the take over of the Health Care System and the entire US GOVT. The Dems know for a fact that they are going to get voted out this next Nov the next thing they are going to force down the peoples throat is AMNESTY. They are going to legalize over night upwards of 30 million illegals so they have a new voting base.

Mark my words.

All you VETS, time to start hitting up the VA and file your claims. I believe the magic number is 30. As in 30% disability. Get your local VA rep to hook you up.

I had a couple or hardass PLF's too man. Hit the edge of an DZ onetime at Benning, doing a rear PLF in what seemed like 20MPH wind, I hit a birm and I swear my ballistic helmet felt like it was gonna pop off. It was a hollywood complete with full gear, guys walking over my canopy and skysharks that didn't know where the hell they wanted to go.


ANYWAY!!! Put your claims in cause I can about guarantee they'd give ya at least 10% per knee and maybe another 10 for the back. Try to find a good rep, if you find he ain't cuttin it for you DX his ass for another. COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!!!!!!!

I just read on another board that the bill includes a tax on indoor tanning of 10%.

Does the govt not realize that you cannot tax people into good behavior? Why tax people for the convenience of indoor tanning when you can go outside and let the sun burn the shot out of you for free. This bill is about killing free enterprise and nothing else.

You sure thats not hearsay; I mean, that kinda sounds out there. Well on second thought, its Obama, he's already exeeded my expectations for being a five-star uberdouche so it is very possible.

I'm not trying to tell you the in's and out's of the bill , Im just telling you my opinions on the bill. Which of course is another bill to cause the US to decline.

They are talking about reducing the debt deficiet with the money they are making off of the insurance bill. Sounds like just more hidden tax.

The 10% indoor tanning tax is a fact.

It's now beginning... a friend of ours just lost his health insurance, because his company would rather pay the fine than pay the insurance costs. His wife is in the same boat. Awesome news to get when you just had a baby! Thanks to Obama and his nutswingers. It was predicted that somebody will come along to take us down from the inside... guess we know who now, don't we?

Most of what you hear on this bill is half truths and that is from both sides. When Johnson passed the Medicare bill in the 60's it was pretty much the same scene that you see now. Pepole ranting about goverment controlled health care was unconstitutional and is was going to ruin health care as we know it. But I guess it turn out all right and maybe this will to. I haven't read the intire bill but I have skimmed through it and on the subject of getting find for having no health insurance it seems when you do your tax returns you will check if you have health insurance or not and the fine will be based on your taxable income and is a very low percent. I believe if you grossed 60k the fine was $300 or something like that. But to be honest it only makes sense that we should have to have health insurance, I mean we have to have car insurance, home insurance, motor cycle insurance, boat insurance, and so on. It seems if we should have to have insurance on all our assets we should have to have insurance on our ass.
