Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give some background info on myself before I ask my questions, but I would like to compliment everyone who participates on this site. I am very impressed with the honesty and genuine interest in almost all questions asked. I have been competing in amateur strongman competitions for a couple years now and participated in some other forums with other competitors. But honestly, I'm tired of their elitist B.S attitudes. I have posted some serious questions about training, nutrition, whatever only to get no reply or some condescending reply. But if one of the regulars or a mod. posts something about a hang nail he got while training, it gets 1,000 replies. So based on what I have seen here, I tip my hat to you all.
As I said before, I compete in strongman and always looking for an edge. I am 5' 10" 230ish. Not sure of body fat % but it can always be less. I have always felt that I am not nearly as strong as I should be. I am either a mental midget of have some sort of lack of muscle density, hence my interest in IGF.
My main interest is strength gain, but have read mixed opinions regarding strength gains with IGF. Does anyone suspect this could be due to training styles? I get the feeling the most guys here are body builders and the training can be very different.
Most of the supplements I have taken are basic, calcium, multi vit, vitamin C blah, blah. The most aggressive being pro-hormones which I had excellent results with. Added 30-40 lbs on most of my lifts in 4-6 weeks! Also gained 12 lbs body weight.
So to summarize my questions:
Could the minimal strength gains on IGF be due to training style?
Can I take IGF with the pro-hormones? (I would do the IGF alone till I see how I respond).
How does MC's come? I believe I read its pre-mixed, and does it come with the BA to fill the pin first?
How critical are the times of IGF treatments? I live 45 mins from my gyms so right before or after is tough.
Has anyone tried to use DMSO to apply IGF instead of pins? I could post a link if anyone is not familiar? I would suggest reading up on it. Stuff is amazing! I broke my tibia and fibia and dislocated my ankle on Jan.29 had surgery, 10 screws and a plate put in my leg. 7 weeks later I am back to work and was at the gym doing upper body. I still walk with a limp, but for 7 weeks I'll take it. I used DMSO twice a day and Im convinced that sped up the healing.
I sincerely appreciate any input. I want to place an order ASAP. I'll probably give IGF a run regardless but I just want to know what to expect.
Thanks again!
