Tuna + ?

How do you guys eat your tuna? I've been trying different things lately since tuna is my least favorite protein and I'm dieting so I'm just trying to get by... It tastes much better on a sandwich, but no bread for me right now. I do mix it with brown rice when I have it, which is good.

As for sauces, mustard and hot sauce help! So does balsamic vinegar. I just put Walden Farms' BBQ sauce on it and it was sooooo good! I think this will be my new favorite way to have my tuna!

I've never in my life come close to even trying tuna. Never have, never will

I put mustard and relish on it, the relish is like 4g's of sugar which isnt bad for me right now im not getting ready for a show though just slowly dropping fat, may be a no no for you though. If no relish usually some sirache (sp?) the japanese chinese whatever hot sauce, pretty damn hot so go easy but it adds great flavor.

Oh hey Steph what bbq did you buy from waldens farm? I tried the honey BBQ and i can barely stand the taste of it at all its terrible to me. Almost tastes like they added chocolate to it or something. I bought some alfredo too and with 0 cals i had an open mind for both of them but the alfredo is pretty bad too, it tastes like celery and no fat cream or something lol not good at all.

I have thick n spicy bbq and regular bbq... both of which are freakin' AWESOME!

I tried the scampi sauce a few months back and wasn't a fan... also the mayo, it was okay the first time I used it but after that I couldn't get used to the weird texture. It was like whipped cream, but tasted mayo-ish, but just left me kind of bewildered, lol.

I hate tuna. I like albacore better. Its less fishy but its twice the price. Both suck really.

There's a sushi restaurant nearby that makes peppered tuna (seared) which i absolutely LOVE! But it's like $14 for just the tuna (nothing comes with it) so I gotta be in the mood to spend the money on it. It's fresh tuna though so nothing beats that. I have no problem putting it down!

As for the canned crap, my preference is Bumble Bee (solid white albacore in water).

I'm weird. A fave late night snack is a can of solid albacore, lemon juice, and a huge glass of water. Starkist and Costco (Kirkland) are the two best I've had.

Albacore has more fat, though.

I usually throw some fat free 1000 Island in it, and it's pretty good. Or if I'm not worried about the carbs, I mix it with mac'n'cheese. That's the ish right there!!

I never ever ever eat macaroni and cheese and now that I'm about half way through prep, I've been wanting it for some reason. Damnit!!

I tried my tuna this afternoon with Walden Farms Creamy Bacon Dressing (which was the first time I tried it... pretty good, has a slight kick!) but I really like the BBQ best... it masks the fishiness the most and tastes so damn good!

Hmm, never tried it like that, sounds good. Then again, pretty much anything is good with mac n cheese.

I heart mac'n'cheese. Probably one of my favorite foods ever. Sometimes when I make a few pounds of ground beef, and I break it up into smaller servings, one of my servings I'll make an Easy Mac cup with it and throw it in. It's like a cheeseburger without a bun. So dadgum good!! But I love putting tuna in mac'n'cheese. Like a tuna melt without the bread.

And you can't forget mac n cheese with cut up hot dogs. Seriously, if I could pick one food to live off of for the rest of my life it would probably be mac n cheese.
