First Week on IGF

So I have finished one week on IGF. I have been doing SQ in the stomach and sides (love handles but I hate that f-n term!). I'll do 40 mcg usually an hour or two before bed. I was shocked at how little that actually is! I even checked it a bunch of times, hahaha. Honestly I havent noticed anything except the occasional increase in hunger, possibly. I'm not sure I'd say its from the IGF. I eat like a pig anyway. My training hasnt been "insane". Im on an upper body routing three to four times a week because I had surgery on my ankle back in Jan. Cant do much lower body. Im 5-10 about 230-235 bw. I was wondering if I should up the dose, or just ride it out for another week or so? I know its only been a week so its not that big of a deal, but I was just curious of the opinions of the guys that have done it. Everyone is different, but I have found with other supplements, I tend not to respond to the normal doses. This is my first time doing applications and I was hoping to have a better response with this method. This is the cleanest diet I have kept in a while too. Minimal fats and bad carbs. I usually dont care about that stuff because Im not a B.B, but I figured due to my injury I would try to lean out for a bit. I would appreciate any input. Thanks a bunch.

No IM yet. I do eventually plan on doing IM. But there a couple problems. If I have read correctly, there are some time restrictions on pre & post workout APPLICATION. I hit the gym after work, 50 min from home. so I cant really carry the stuff to do it before. I could do post workout but it would be an hour after training, and again, some say its ok and some say its a waste. Im just a little confused, everyones different. So im gonna have to play around with different things. but I dont want to change to quickly due to impatience. I was actually gonna do a combination of SQ and IM through the cycle figuring so long as im putting it somewhere. I think I can hit most muscles with a ? I got a little extra padding if you know what I mean :evil:

You can try and bump it up. I wouldn't think you need any more than 60mcgs the first time.
 
have you been getting lethargic, since starting the igf? i think thats the best way to tell if its working + you will be getting good pumps in the gym. you should be noticing that your getting leaner too.

I do feel like I get a little tired right after application. But again, its at night, after dinner, so I really cant tell. I dont feel it during training, because, I assume, I dont take it pre-workout? Ive done two days at 60mcgs Ill see what happens. Thanks for the input. Really depend on the more experienced guys, and I appreciate the replies.

ive never applied igf at night, maybe try changing to AM shots to feel the difference? only thing i can think of it, maybe it peaks while ur asleep and you dont notice the effects because of that, i think if you started applying in the morning you will notice the effects in the gym aswell becuse your shooting it close to training, have you noticed any physical changes? when i first start i feel like i get a little bit of bloat, and after i get leaner.

I agree with big lifter here! I would definatly chage the time you take it! and I would definatly take it preworkout

Thanks Big Lifter, Im gonna try yours and Pressers suggestions. My question would be how soon before training can you take it? Its usually 6-8 hours from the time I leave my house till I train after work. Short of bringing stuff with me, not sure how Id do it.
 
I went from 40 micro grams to 100 micro grams post workout. The difference was like night and day. Super pumps and increased vascularity. My muscles appeared super full. Time to re-order.

no bro you are gonna want to take it about an hour or half hour before working out and then load up on some carbs, I eat 4-5 packs of flavored oatmeal right after i apply it to my abs. 6-8 hours before training is waaay too long
 
Yeah thats what I figured Presser. I got to find a way to have the stuff with me. Its tough though. I work out of a truck, so I would be doing it there. If I could keep it a safe temperature, do you think I could load a syringe in the AM, and keep that with me? As much as I dont like doing it on the road, I dont think I have a choice. My last resort is to ask my buddy, since he owns the gym, to keep everything there. But too many people poking around though.

What about non training days, when do you apply?

if you are going to do your daily dose in 1 shot then have it an hour or so b4 training like press said, if your working out of a truck you can preload your syringe and keep it in your esky to keep it cool, if not why dont you just leave it in a locker at your gym? igf will stay stable at room temp for long enough for you to get through 1 bottle.
on non training days, shoot it in the morning when you get up, i dont see any point shooting b4 bed because your body will be making its own hormones to help you grow while your asleep.

I don't take any carbs after taking it... I don't have an issue with going hypo at all. Is that the only reason for taking in the carbs?

Thanks man, I think I got a plan to make it happen. Im just gonna "set up" at the gym. I talked to my buddy and its the only real way to make it happen. Its just tough with some of the other guys around. Some dont care, others make a big deal out of it, but fuck em. Go hard or go home! Thanks to everyone who replied, I'll do my first pre w.o application tomorrow, cant wait.
