So this trainer at my gym knows a dude who helped launch this protein vodka and is looking for a model to help advertise the product. He thought I would be perfect and is trying to set something up... pretty cool, but all that aside... protein + vodka? Really?? lol... Vodka is my poison of choice when not dieting, so it does sound too good to be true. I'm looking into this... maybe I'll buy a bottle and save it for the end of June when I can actually enjoy it!

What do you guys think? I can't find any nutritional facts on it though, which makes me wonder how *good* can it actually be?

Ouch.

Well it says it's "infused with casein" but in fine print offers the disclaimer that it doesn't have any health benefits, lol. I just want to know how much protein is in the stuff!

You would be perfect to advertise it. That is a great opportunity and you should take advantage of it for sure. Great way to get your name out there and make some money too!

Guiness has a good amount of protein in it lol. Im not a huge drinker anymore but sounds pretty cool, they should put liv 52 in it too so your protecting your liver at the same time haha

While it's an interesting idea I don't see the point of this.. Alcohol destroys your protein synthesis, so what's the point of adding protein to the vodka? lol , it's a gimmick IMO

I figured it was too good to be true, but had to ask... I'm definitely not a big drinker anymore by any means but had to ask if anyone had heard of anything like this.

Of course it's a gimmick, but I bet it'll sell ;)

well vodka converts to sugar in the body, so theres carbs right there

casien is like powdered milk, so you could figure that itll have a good amount of calories and carbs in it

Figured it was all hype... sounds like an oxymoron to me, but I had to ask... ya know, for those times when I can and do want to drink.

It's funny though... I haven't touched alcohol in months and honestly don't even miss it.

No nutritional value. Thats kinda like a friend of mine who ate pork rinds for the protein. It says the exact same thing on them.

Protein metabolism slow the metabolism and absorption of alcohol. It's not a good stack!
