Anyone had permanent hair removal?

The only two types I know of are laser and electrolysis. Has anyone had either one of these done to remove a substanital amount of hair and if so how well did it work? Shaving all the time is such a pain in the dick.

Also, if you had hair removal done, and continued cycling, would it cause new hair to grow meaning you would have to go back and have the new hair removed as well?

Nair is still getting the laser thing done hes been doing that for like a year now lol. Says its a little painful but is working good. I think he is getting like most of his body done lol.

I tried the laser thing like 5 treatments and it still grew back, but I don't think I did it right.. I heard you have to be on treatments for a long time before its gone forever. Luckily I got all my treatments for free (my friends mom brought her machine home)

How dark is your hair? I've also heard that you have to have dark hair for the laser to really work. Mine is dark so it's not a problem, just wondering if maybe that's why it didn't work for you.

My hair is dark as can be, im Italian so think of it like that.. lmao  My facial hair is like sandpaper it's so rough, I wish I could laser that shit off forever, its a pain in the ass. My body hair on my chest and arms is dark but I dont have any anywhere else, besides my legs of course.. The laser treatment I did was just for my chest, stomach

Yeah you have to do a certain amount of treatments per area and its done over the course of many months. Ill try to get ahold of Nair to come answer some questions for ya bro.

i want it done too. My hair is super thick and rough. And i am also sick of the friggin razorburn. No matter what razor/cream i use, i still get it. If i havent shaved in a week or two, it takes me almost 2 hrs in the shower

That's what I deal with too. No matter what I do I get razor burn on my legs, especially where my thighs rub together. I know it's not cheap but never having to deal with razor burn again would be worth it. I would probably get it for my face too. I hate shaving!

dude thats so fucked up! thats the only main spot i get it too. If i shave quick, imight get it on my chest, but no matter how slow, how new the razor is, i ALWAYS get it on my quads.....wtf

Maybe it gets irritated more from having your legs rub against each other all day. I was thinking about starting to put some Gold Bond or something on my legs anyway. Even if I don't shave they get irritated from rubbing while I walk all day. Maybe that would help the razor burn too?

Laser is going well. Since hair grows in cycles, treatments are spaced out about 8-10 weeks. If you do decide to do it, I recommend American Laser. They have a guarantee where if you still grow hair after 1 year, they’ll work on you for an additional 2 years until it permanently goes away. I reached my second year in February.

After just over a year now, I’d say I’ve realized a 50% reduction in body hair overall and at least a 75% reduction in hair thickness. If I wanted to, I could shave everyday without irritation. It’s a great program and I’m glad I’m doing it--just takes a while but after about another year and a half, I won’t really be shaving too much ever again. The nurses who do the procedures say they haven’t shaved their legs or armpits in years.

Last thing: when on heavy androgens the hair grows back faster but still remains thin. When it’s all said and done, there shouldn’t be anything to worry about when “on” since all the hair follicles will be dead.

Oh yeah, they make you sign a waiver when you sign the contract which states that your 2 year guarantee is void if you use AAS. I couldn’t believe it; how the hell would they ever find out lol?

What kind of prices do they charge? Last time I checked it was crazy expensive, has it come down at all?

Shit, I don't have much hair at all, thanks to the Cherokee blood, but I don't like the little hair that I have. My hair is blond, so it's not too bad, but I feel it. So I use Smooth Away, as seen on tv. lol. I do that and it lasts me about a month or two before I have to think about doing it again.

I tried that thing and it didn't do jack. My hair is way to coarse and thick for it to work. Wish it did though. :(

LOL! I got fine, blond, thin hair on my arms and legs, so it works awesome for me. The only thing that sucks, is it takes like 2 hours to do my legs and another hour to do my arms. But it lasts for a very long time, and my skin is baby smooth.

That's one thing I did notice, even though it didn't remove my hair it did exfoliate the hell out of my skin. I should keep using it just for that, lol.

You must have some crazy ass hair if that thing didn't work. lol. It does take off any and all dead or close to dying skin. I look like I sanded down a car with all of the dust that's on the floor under me, when I'm done.

I am Italian, Greek and French, so yeah, I'm a hairy mofo. Sucks. :(
