Legs not as tan as rest of body?

I swear no matter what I do my legs don't get as tan as the rest of my body. I have tried only using lotion on my legs, using no lotion anywhere, only lotion on torso and arms. Nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions? It's probably more noticeable to me than to others, but it still irks me.

same here bro i started tanning early this year and my legs are finally starting to get a bit dark. usually by the end of summer they are really starting to get dark. My stomach has a hard time tanning as well.

I'm the same way, I think my legs reflect light. My upper body will tan easy but my legs are totally resistant.

I'm olive skinned and tan easily, so nope... don't really have that problem! I don't think it's uncommon though.

I'm olive skinned as well so it's not like my legs are lilly white, lol. But my upper body is nice and dark and my legs and just normal. Maybe a little tanner than normal, but nowhere near as dark as my upper body. :(

I think maybe part of the problem is that my gym has a max time limit of 10 minutes on their beds. That's nothing. Once my neighborhood pool opens and I can get some actual sun, maybe that will help.

How often have you been going? The max is 10 minutes at my tanning salon too, but I've been going pretty frequently for the last 2 months and seem to be maintaining well now.

Every day I train, I tan too, which is M/T/Th/F. My gym also has some stupid rule about not tanning twice within 24 hours so it makes it hard to go everyday. Stupid rules, it's my body, just let me tan like I want!!

For real??! The girls at Beach Bum are happy to see me no matter how many days in a row I go, lol. It's good to be aware of the potentially damaging effects, but it is YOUR body...

Exactly, and I already had to sign some disclaimer saying the gym isn't responsible so I don't see what the big deal is...

I probably have the most extreme case. I really only tan when using Melanotan 2, but I try to go tan at least twice a week. My upper body is good, but my legs are ghost white. I layed out today with SPF 50 on my upper body and nothing on my legs for an hour in 93 degree Fl sun. They aren't even showing any redness. I'm going to use fake tanner on them.

That may help, bro... In the beds, my legs dont get jack for color. But in the real sun, I get dominican brown, as my friend likes to call it. Gotta love the Cherokee blood in me.

^ ^ ^ I'm like that, too, except it's Italian blood for me. I haven't really been in the sun like that for a while though. I'll have to ease back into it--need to get tan if I'm going to keep myself shaved.

Beds keep me nice and even. Standup booths leave my top half much darker than the lower. Not shure why. Dave Pulcinella runs into the same problem in Raising the Bar.

Yup... that's what I use now, is the stand ups, and I'm very much darker above the waist. Something about the bulbs being verticle and the way the gases settle in the bulb makes the upper half stronger than the lower half. You don't get that problem with a horizontal bed.
