Veet is awesome its a womans hair remover if anyone didnt know. Well it says not to put on your nips or any other private areas. Well I dont listen to directions much so i slathered up my chest stomach area all over my nips. Let that shit sit for about 8 mintues and just wiped the hair off. Nothing bad at all worked fantastic. So after that im thinking hell while im at it. I slather that shit all over my ass havent trimmed this in quite some time so it looked like a forrest. I mean all over my ass, 8 minutes later same thing worked perfect no burning pain at all. Just kinda stinks like most hair removers. This stuff works great. I have used it on my arms before but never on anything like this. Well just thought i would post something random and retarded for you guys.

Edit: didnt try the meat and potatoes as i use a razor for those area's. Im sure it couldnt be too bad though.

LOL, I am just waiting till you post how many ingrown hairs on your ass you got from this misadventure....

Haha yeah i dont think it will be too bad ive shaved my ass before and it wasnt too bad. Your lucky if you dont grow much hair i hate it im just usually too fucking lazy to shave etc.

Has anyone used the nair for men? I was looking for veet yesterday, but I couldn't find it. They did have the nair for men though.

Wow G.S. As good as that advise was, I officially feel like I know you too well now! hahaha thats funny stuff and good to know I guess. I have the same "forrest" issue.

Do you have to use a lot of it for it to work? How long would a bottle last if you used it for legs, arms and maybe a couple other places?

I wouldnt go for the Nair for men bro, my thread about the terrible burn was that same kind. It sat in my cabinet for a long time though so i dont know if that had something to do with it. The veet just seems less painful and better for personal areas lol.

It really depends on how hairy you are. If its just like stubble then it will go quite a bit probably almost full body for one bottle but if its like your first shave in a long time then probably like a bottle for legs and maybe partially arms. I used about a half a bottle last night for chest, stomach, and the "other" areas lol.

Yeah stick around lol i make posts like this all the time, people knew way too much about me back when i drank every weekend id post drunk threads all the time that were pretty well known.

Does it take the hair longer to grow back than shaving? One bottle per whole body would get expensive.

yeah a little longer not a lot longer though. Like i said i just use it when and on spots that i havent shaved in a long time, once i get it down i use electric razor all over its much easier then getting razor burn and shit. Yeah i use it about once every 2 weeks or so if that, i just use an old remington 3 way electric razor gets it as close as a razor pretty much and is alot easier then slathering with cream an shit.

LOL, I definitely didn't read anything offensive or graphic in here GS but thanks for protecting my feelings (and my eyes by not providing photographic evidence!!)

I used Nair/Neet in my teens and hated it... take it off too soon and not all the hair comes off; leave it on too long and you burn your skin. You boys have more coarse hair, so its probably less risky for your skin to get burned. That's a great review though! If any of the other guys try this, they should post up their experiences!

I've got shaving down to a science so I never have any issues. In the winter (if I can be patient a whole 3-4 days - long enough for hair to grow at least 1/4"), I wax my own legs. I've tried other parts, but not all the hair would come out, so I learned the hard, painful way that giving oneself a brazilian is not a good idea, lol.

Ok, I just flinched, for real!! Dang. :uhoh:

Haha, I handled it pretty well... I've got two piercings down below, so if I had to compare, it definitely wasn't as bad as two needles going through a very special and sensitive little piece of skin...

speaking of knowing too much :D

Haha yeah steph i initially started out with alot more details in there but i cleaned it up haha. Yeah your only supposed to leave it on for 6 minutes and i left in on over 8 didnt burn at all, now nair for men on the other hand had me dancing a damn jig in the shower that one time holy cow taht shit felt like my skin was on fire.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. TMI....lol. :surprised

How did the hair end up growing back? My problem I have with those and shaving in general is my hair growing back so fast and it's thick so I get all those rock solid stubs. Then what usually happens from sweating, i get pimples around the pours in my skin where the stubs of hair are growing back.. It's a real pain in the ass.. I'm going to try waxing next.. lol

Hair doesnt really grow back thicker its that when it grows back the ends arent rounded off like it used to be. So it seems thicker. It grows back just like anytime to me. I get less pimples when i shave since i have less hair and it seems like the hair keeps me more oily and warm.

Sorry for the TMI... I'm open, what can I say. And it was a good comparison, soooooo... but anyway, enough about that!

I wonder what's different about the men's formula that made it burn more? Since I'm not as hairy as a man (lol, thank god for that!!), there's more nair/neet-to-skin contact for females and the hair seems to be finer, so I think its easier to get burned... with men, the product would be targeting the hair and eating away at that, rather than the skin. That's my theory anyhow!

The other problem is if you don't leave it on long enough, you have to shave regardless, which also burns because the skin is already irritated.

Shaving tip: I shave with exfoliating cream. St. Ives' Apricot body scrub is my favorite and has been for years! I lather up and scrub the skin good to help get rid of dead skin cells and then I take the razor and do what I gotta do. After my shower, I dry off well and then slather on the cocoa butter so my skin stays hydrated and smooth. Haven't had razor bumps or ingrown hairs since I started doing this a few years ago! Exfoliating regularly (as a general rule of thumb) will also help reduce ingrown hairs from forming!
