Sip or skull?

Do you guys sip your protein shakes or just slam them down?

I slam mine down onl because I drink them cos I have to not cos I want to, but I wonder if there is any benifit from sipping them.. Maybe it will help with digestion and absorbtion of the protein
 
I just down mine right after my workout.... for breakfast i just mix the powder in with my oatmeal... yuummmmm
 
I do both. Post workout I drink it in seconds cuz I'm usually hungry as fuck and can't wait any longer. However, during the day I'll take my time to make my meal last longer. I don't think there's much difference to any method. The fact of the matter is that a protein shake (especially whey isolate) digests so quickly, it's still gonna stress your kidneys more than whole food as a protein source. I'd just make sure you have a healthy balance between shakes and whole foods.
 
I probably drink it all down within 3-5 minutes when I get them at the gym. When I make them at home, it usually slam them, because it's just powder and water and doesn't have the berries, honey, cinnamon, or anything else in it that the gym puts in them.
 
your gym has a store that makes protein shakes for you lol thats sweeet , the closest we have is booster juice but then again its not in our gym

Yea, they blend them up right on the spot, using whatever you want for protein, and/or any additives such as honey, bananas, peanut butter, blackberries, strawberries, cinnamon, etc. They'll mix it with water, juice, or skim milk, too. Pretty good for $5.
 
they will also add recovery, creatine, aminos, and all kinds of other shit at my gym
