Detroit = War zone.

We got stuck in the jungle for about 2 hours in a traffic jam during the Detroit fireworks. We where trying to get to a party down town. Nicole was pretty scared, we seriously where like the only white people. We watched as this dude just got chased down by a mob of 20 people and beaten. I really had to hold back cause i really wanted to help this guy. But i knew the second i stepped out of the car i would be jumped. Just sucked.... The guy was lying there... then they stripped him of everything. By the time we moved a cop was checking his vitals. I could see him breathing, thats about it.

Further down, we got pushed to the side as about 15 police cars made there way up Jefferson. Something big went down.

I still love detroit, but nights like last= not a good place to be if your white.

yeah I got a buddy that lives down here now from up that way, and he says that Detroit is the armpit of America.
