This oil spill keeps getting worse *video*

This is about 45min from where I live. Very sad to see to only place I have lived my entire life(gulf coast of Florida) being destroyed. And turned into a toxic place.

Wow, this whole mess is completely awful... I can't even watch the news reports about it. Makes me so sad...

Its an incredible atrocity. That being said I don't understand how despite all of this and the continuing wars, gas prices continue to drop..... our country is so fucked up. It certainly makes you wonder what the real reason for $4 a gallon gas prices were during Bush's administration....

I think the same way bro. When it is all said and done we the tax payers will pay for BP's fuck up and a gallon of gas will be 6 to 8 dallors a gallon.uke:uke:uke:uke:BP.

Thankfully its not here (by me) yet...we have seen very little of the oil...up the road in Pcola though is a very different story..shit sucks

I can't even fathom that this is happening to our POOR Ecosystem.. that I am pissed that this fucking administration isn't doing dick.. and when they did decide to do dick about it.. it was too late.. and NOW, it's gotten to the point of too fuckin' bad senor... it's now officially FUCKED...

Things will get better, probably faster than many think. In about one-two years time the water everywhere will be back to normal. There are many agents/chemicals that help speed up the process of diluting the oil thats suspended in the upper waters; right now, however, the focus has to be on stopping the ensuing flow of oil from the ground. I'm not a democrat by any stretch but i can't believe people are blaming the adminstration for a slow response, it's really unbelievable. Also, BP will likely go under as a result of this. Their stock is at an all time low and the company will loose at least 100 billion dollars for this. In fact, the company 24/7 Wall St. reports the company will go under after everything is said and done. The situation sucks, but accidents happen. We're only human.

The reason why gas was so expensive was because the douche bags who trade oil were jacking up the price. They THOUGHT that there was going to be an oil shortage, so they decided to jack up the prices on the oil they were selling. These are the same assholes that buy millions of gallons of oil, but only actually pay for 6% of what they buy, and never have to take delivery of what they buy. Doesn't seem quite right to me how they can "buy" 1,000,000 barrels of oil, but only pay for 60,000 barrels and never have to take delivery. That's like you and me buying a semi full of ZO6's and paying for a Cobalt, and never seeing the cars, but selling them for much more than we paid or they are worth. Just because we thought that they were going to stop making them sometime in the future.

The gas prices going down is the oil tycoons and gas companies kissing our ass. There are enough hybrid and electric vehicles coming out, that we will be able to put a nice dent in their profits. They want to be sure that we keep buying our trucks, SUVs, and gas-guzzling sports cars. The whole oil game is a just that... a game. There is no reality in oil, just perspectives and theories, all controlled by a bunch of money hungry dicks.
