Here is a chili recipe that takes a bit of time to prep but is well worth the work. I like to portion this out and freeze most of it, keep one or two thawed and on hand. Hope you all enjoy!

3 pounds ground turkey
1 chopped onion
2 chopped green bell peppers
2 chopped red bell peppers
2 tablespoons minced garlic
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 (4 oz.) cans green chilis
3 (15 oz.) cans spicy diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
4 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Brown ground turkey in 12 quart stock pot; drain excess fat.
Combine onion, peppers, garlic, chili powder, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper and cumin. Mix well and cook until onions are tender.
Stir in green chilis, tomato sauce, spicy tomatoes, tomato paste and red kidney beans.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Makes 16 servings.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm gonna make a batch this weekend. I really don't get a gamey taste from turkey. Of course, I'm using store bought.
