so im pretty broke. I left my wife with nothing. Been driving a pretty beat up pick up around for the past 3 months- wife took everything.

anyways, Today i finally dug deep into the pockets and bought a jeep grand
cherokee. Its older, but looks a hell of a lot better and gets double the mileage.

So- thank god im making a little bit of progress.

That's great to hear I know ur ride can have a big impact on how u feel sometimes so congrats bro I use to have a red one well it was my exes but it was nice but payments were like $450 a month though it was new back then but I still see them on the road and they still look good and have a good shape to them

a buddy of mine has one- 300k on it and aside from general maintance no real problems...

he put black rims and limo black tint on all the windows (not suppose to though) looks sharp

I've always LOVED those Jeep's I owned a Maroon one ohhh probably geesh about 4 yrs ago now.. and it was 2000.. but I friggen LOVED IT.. even though I got it 192k miles.. I ended up selling it w/ 230k without anything new into *other than basic maint. stuff.. tires/tierods/and I think a motor mount* but then I ended up getting a 500 dollar '96 VW JETTA.. until I finally lost my license for 4 yrs (time's almost up.. and I can have it back) and !!!

after reading this.. I might just go buy another Jeep Grand !!

So Congrats Norm !! I always love to hear when a brother is picking himself back up from a divorce !! I am on the outs w/ my wife now so I imagine I'll be going through a nasty one within the next 6 months myself.. (just a feeling-- I know she's cheating-- just gotta catch her).. so.. yah bro..

thanks guys!! Its amazing what a car can do to your self esteem. Yes, im separated from my wife, living on my own. Nicole didnt give me any shit about driving a huge piece of crap. She actually liked driving in it. said she wanted to dress up in daisy dukes and pig tails.... and f-me in it. Im keeping the truck till that happens. haa haa!!

Had a black Jeep Grand Cherokee a while back. Damn, I miss that thing. It had all-time Quadra 4WD, and it plowed through snow like it wasn't there.

It's funny, as you mature (get older) it seem's like simpler things make you happy. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other
