Sonnen delivered on his promises, yet Silva came out with the W with a surprising triangle with less than 2 minutes left in round 5. Silva got owned for SURE though and no doubt, that had to humble him a little bit.
I started to get annoyed by all the bs Sonnen was spitting, but gotta give the kid props for doing what he said he was going to do. Good fight!!
I wish Dos Santos could have finished fatass Nelson, but at least he won there.
I expected more from Alves, but Fitch was all over that for three rounds so no such luck for the pitbull.

I can't believe nobody else is riled up about this... I wasn't really looking forward to this card and it ended up being pretty damn good in the end. I forgot to mention Hughes (I sorta forgot about him, since I'm not really a fan) but damn he put Almeida to sleep. Gotta love finishes like that...

I used to trained with Matt, and he is a fckn asshole!!!! Besides that it was a awesome card. Not one bad fight with maybe the exception of the Thiago vs fitch fight. I fckn hate how jon fitch lays on his oppenets and humps their leg for the win. Andreson really proved himself in my op. For all the shots that Chale landed on Silva, Silva didn't have a mark on him. Anderson is one tough motherfucker. I think this was an eye opener for Silva. Talent will only get you so far. I expect to see a new and improved Silva from this point on....

Matt always seems like an asshole. Something about him rubs me the wrong way... even if he is in the UFC hall of fame and was the best welterweight ever, blah blah blah...
My friend and I were joking that Fitch not only looks like a monkey, but he was acting like one the way he held onto Alves the whole time like he was trying to climb him. I was bored with that one... I don't ever find Fitch's fights to be exciting. He gets the wins, but not exciting...
