I finally bit the bullet...and bought another truck..

I havent had a car payment in almost a year and a half, my last truck cost me $1200 a month to LEASE IT! but then again it was a fully loaded 2500HD 4wd crew cab duramax.. when I turned in my 2500HD I didnt want another car payment for a LONG time but I couldnt go any longer without a truck...so I bought this baby on Saturday 7/31/10. Its a 2008, paid $16k and payment is under $380...cant beat that...love the Tundra!...miss the diesel :crap:

Even though its a 2wd I'll lift it and hook it up...

oh well cant post a pic....site issues

I can't for the life of me figure out why the hell anyone would lift a 2 wheel drive

growing up in Southern California its common as people usually run the trucks in the desert...they are "pre-runner" trucks. not to mention you save a bunch on your insurance and I never go offroad so for me its the look...I never even put my 2500HD in 4wd when I had it..

Its the same as having a gun in the house...... chances are you will never use it, but its nice to now you have it just in case

Congrats on the new truck! With any luck, I'll be picking up what you got rid of, soon. I'm looking at a 2010 2500HD Duramax/Allison Z71. :) Let's hope we get the phone call that we want today.

That's funny you mention the So Cal thing because I see it everyday here and I always wonder, what the hell is that person thinking? I had no idea it had any functionality out in the desert. It's all beginning to make some damn sense!

Doing it for the look though, I don't know...seems kind of cheesy but to each their own

Thanks for clearing that up

I LOVED mine, but if your getting an LTZ you better get ready to grab your ankles...lol

My only complaint about that truck was the fuel tank is REALLY small..If I remember correctly $40-$50 would fill it up and not last long...

damn my v6 regular cab silverado will eat a solid $60+. but i get over 400miles to the tank.

hahaha you know I bit the bullet at christmas when I traded both my 06 double cab 4x4 tundra TRD and my wife's 05 benze in for...a 10 civic and a 10 accord! LMAO I drive dufus cars now but it costs 29 bucks to fill em up and it lasts fucking weeks!
