Blood work for...

...i m going to the dermatologist next week with the hope he will prescribe me accutane...now i will need to get blood work done before i get my script...my questuion is when getting blood work done what will they be looking at or for in the blood...should i definitely NOT tell them i m juicing or will it show up somehow...

-i've been on accutane before and i love the stuff.  even when i do a cycle, i hardly get acne.  but if you tell the doctor you're on the juice, he/she may not prescibe the stuff for you, simply cause accutane is hard on the liver and won't mix well with roids.  that's why the doctors tell you not to drink while on accutane..........they even reduced my prescription once cause i drank too much alcohol before the blood testing.
-so if anything, i'd tell the doctor about the AS after you're already on accutane, or better yet, wait 'till you're off the juice  ;)
-i believe the doctors are mainly testing your cholesterol level cause accutane increase that........but sorry man, it's been a long time since i was tested, can't remember much

Liver function tests(SGPT/SGOT/gGT) will be what they test for. Lifting regularly will raise SGPT/SGOT even without AAS as will intramuscular injections. GammaGT is more liver specific for detecting inflammation independent of muscle.
If you don't have "baseline acne" and it's all AAS induced a lower dose of Accutane will usually take care of it with less chance for sides. (10 to 20 mg per day for AAS induced acne)
I'm sure you,ve probably read the reports associating this drug with increased depression/suicide rates. There seems to be a direct correlation and I'd make others around you aware of the drugs potential so they can help you monitor your mood better, especially with the AAS on board.
Properly monitored ,it's a great drug, just be careful bro.

...will being on orals at the time of the blood work test really effect the liver tests to the point where he wouldnt want me to take accutane...i m on some right now...  ???

It might, make it clear to him that you train hard and heavy(no need to mention AAS IMO).Might even mention that your levels have been mildly elevated in the past due to your intensive training.... If your transaminase levels are less that 2x the upper limit of normal you should be in good shape.
