Hi I kno this question comes up all the time everywhere but someone correct me if im wrong here, im adding bacteriostatic water to my gh and igf1:

gh-10 IU vial
add 1 ml of BW- (therefore- 1 IU= 1/10ml)

So on a 1/2cc 30g slin pin (50 units on pin), 30 units(on pin)= 3 IU's of gh???

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Igf-100mcg vial
add 1ml of BW- (therefore 10mcgs= 1/10ml)

So on a 1/2cc 30g slin pin (50 units on pin), 40 units(on pin)= 40mcgs of 1gf?

Thanks guys, let me know if this makes sense, its been a few years since ive used gh or igf.

Figuring out IU is always so hard to do because there is no real standard for it.

Basically....

For your GH, 10 IU/vial
1 ml of BW will give you 1 IU = 1/10ml

Now for your IGF, if you only got 100mcg, that isn't much, and I'd look again because it should be 1000mcg. Most vendors are selling 1000mcg, not 100mcg. I'm guessing you either misread the label or it's just a typo.

Since you are using micrograms as your unit of measure, don't try to put this in to IU because it won't work. IU has no standard of measurement so it's useless. Stick to your mcg/ml measurement. The marks on the pin don't denote IU, they denote milliliters so don't get confused.

So, IF you did indeed only get 100mcg of IGF and added 1 ml of BW, then yes, 10 mcg = 1/10ml. If you actually got 1000mcg, then it is a 100mcg = 1/10ml. Make sure you know what you have.

Okay so if you have 1/2cc pin (cc = ml, btw), then you have a 1/2 ml pin. When you say "units" I assume you mean the marks--remember, they are not units. If you have 1000mcg as I suspect you do, then at the 40 mark, you actually have 400mcg. If you really only have 100mcg total of IGF, then yes, it will only be 40mcg.
