can go either way mate. prob start with sub-q though, i know some people are pretty sensitive to slin, IM might hit a bit to quickly. i train half hour away from home and only take my shake with me, usually shoot 20iu IM post workout and apart from nearly dozing off halfway home im fine.

I haven't done Humalog only Humalin, but I will always do it intramuscular. The faster in, the faster out. Just have carbs in you and continue to injest them.
 
The Dude is correct, IM peaks faster so it's out of the body faster. That's how I like to do it, too. Seems to keep down the fat around the midsection as an added benefit, at least for me.
 
well i went IM for my first try with slin, 2IU's in each teardrop. I did it PREwo. Im not sure what im looking for, as far as positive side-effects, but it didnt do anything that i can comment on. As usual, im cursed with having to dose everything high, so i will be bumping it to 8 IU's tommorrow. on a positve note, i wa 199lbs today, but i think its because i took slightly more drol than usual

I would try 6iu first bro. Insulin can hit you like a train wreck. Its not linear. My college room mate did something similiar when he decided to try it. I had him start at 4iu and he didn't feel anything, so the next day he jumped straight to 10iu postworkout and even with carbs completely passed out walking up the steps to our house. I was able to wake him just long enough to dump a glass of water with 4 tbsp of sugar in it into his mouth. He was 5 seconds away from an ER visit or worse. He spent the rest of the day trying to eat and funneling gatorade. Please be careful with that shit!

i just have a feeling.... but i'll take your advice and go with 6 tomorrow. What am i looking for in terms of positive sides??

just please be careful, and let somebody you can trust know what your are doing, just incase something goes wrong, they know how to help.

yeah, for sure, i let the GF know, and she is usually with me at the gym. I eat 4 oatmeal packs, and creatine by metrex, which is loaded w/ carbs and sugar 20 min before the gym, then sip on some carbo rush drink (100g carbs), with a 32oz gatorade, and have reese's chocolate in my pockets, lol. Is that good ya think, or do i need more? Im doing it PREwo, (in parking lot)

bro I havent used it yet. Got two bottles sitting in the fridge now. Plan on starting next week. Was going to do mine post workout. Is there an advantage to pre workout?

Oh and Im going to go slow and start with just 1iu. I have anxiety and high blood pressure so Im going to ease into it.

i heard you can get a pump similar to IGF, but it lasts longer, like a permapump almost. Im doing it then, so hours later i can apply IGF as well, cause i have like 3 bottles

well I have no issues getting a pump, sometimes I pump up so much it hurts. Ive started IGF too, but do it in the mornings and at evenings. So I will just stick with post with the insulin.
 
TBH h8t3d id go with 8, you have way more than enough carbs on hand if things go downhill which i can nearly garuntee u they wont. people who havnt used slin read horror stories about how you need 500g of sugar after a shot or u will end up in hospital.. slin is like anything, people who havnt used AAS tell you if u have a little bit you will be covered head to toe in extreme acne, you will grow tits, and your nuts will fall off. once you try it and see how managable it is you wont know how high you can go.

you've obviously taken the precautions mate, try 8iu, you will more than likely need to go even higher than that for you to get great results but for now u just need to find a comfortable dose that will work.

im like you with slin mate, i shoot 20iu post workout and only have 7-8 teaspoons of dextrose in my shake, thats like 35-40grams. and thats with a 120-200mcgs of igf aswell. and im good to go till i get home half hour later and have a big feed.
 
Slin is something you really don't want to jump doses with. It takes a while to start seeing effects from it, and you need to know how your body responds to it. If you took 6iu one day but think you didn't feel anything, that does not mean you should bump to 8iu the next day. It may just be that you had plenty of carbs in your body to utilize it. You will only "feel" insulin if you don't have enough carbs in your body, and that is manifested by hypoglycemic symptoms. Work your way up to the higher doses. Give yourself a few days on one dosage, then move up.

I can take 4-5 iu's and hardy take in any carbs and be fine...but the rule is 10 grams per 1 iu of slin...I normally go with just 10 (alot of people do more to be safe) but I can get by just with a bit of carbs and be ok...
