Neural Tube Defect

Mom's husband suffers from it. My mom said " they gave him steroids, but it didn't help". LOL. So I asked her if the cortisone treatment helped, and she was shocked that I not only new it wasn't steroids, but it actually was cortisone. Anyway, it did nothing. The poor guy suffers seriously for a few days, every few months. Anyone know of something that actually works to help this condition? Please exclude HGH, Deca, GHB, etc., as I doubt he would have anything to do with those. Thanks bro's....

Don't know too much about it. Occurs to fetus when mother doesn't get enough folic acid. It is when your spinal column does not form correctly in vitro....
