My Insulin froze. Is it runied?

My vial got to cold between the icepacks in my cooler that I take to work(gym), and after my workout I pulled it out to use it, and it had a chunk of ice in it. i took it anyway, but wondering now if it is still good?

Anybody?

This says not to keep it between ice packs, because freezing it will ruin its efficacy.

did you still 'feel' it working? or do you usually not notice it?

I am curious to, though I have never taken insulin its still good to know incase other members ask

I can still feel it. Going to get a new bottle and see if their is a diffarance in the "feel". That should give me a good idea if it weakend.

just a note ... humalog will last 30 days out of the fridge... ie. in your gym bag

I would imagine it would last a few more months, but i could be way way off considering im guessing,lol
