Vikes wave Moss

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP)—The Minnesota Vikings have waived receiver Randy Moss(notes).

Linebacker Ben Leber(notes) says coach Brad Childress informed the team that Moss had been let go during a team meeting Monday afternoon.

The NFL Network first reported the Vikings waived Moss, but team officials have not confirmed the news.

Moss had one catch for 8 yards in a loss to the Patriots, In Sunday night’s postgame news conference, he expressed admiration for the Patriots and criticized Vikings coaching.

Childress said earlier Monday that Moss was staying back in the Boston area after the game to spend time with family. Childress said he did not regret acquiring him “at the moment.”

Childress did not mention the roster move during his news conference.

The Vikings acquired Moss from the Patriots a month ago for a third-round draft pick. He played in four games for the Vikings and had 13 catches for 174 yards and two touchdowns.

well yahoo sports (who arent the most credible source) said Moss was alienating players and making them feel small in the locker room, the report said when food was delivered to the locker room from someplace that Moss said "who the Fuck ordered this shit" "I wouldnt feed this shit to my dog" and the report said the player felt small and embarresed, again Yahoo sports has reported shit that has been totaly ficticious in the past so who the fuck knows

with Favre banged up, Moss is expendable......they can't win with Tavaris Jackson regardless of the other talent.....he's not a "game manager".....so getting rid of Moss is simple a smart business decision.....part two is it's also the scapegoat for not winning......I'm a die hard Packers fan, but for the Viqueens I do think it's time to rebuild and fire Childress.......unfortunately for them when this happens many of their talented players will seek free agency or trades.....a comment was made on facebook that childress is the worst viqueens coach ever.....oh, how quickly they all forgot about Les Steckel!!!

They actually pulled that piece from the Associated Press (AP) so it's actually credible; I think that actually happened.

I think also his lack of effort in the Pats game PLUS how he was all hugged up to all the Pats post game PLUS his press conference in a redsux hat with Belichicks cock in his mouth didnt help either
