As I've mentioned before, I really just don't care about a lot of stuff.... especially finances. After my divorce I went from $247,000 in various liquid accounts to zero. Its been about 9 months since I've made a payment on "our" credit cards that are in my name. I've been trying to save to file bankruptcy and I just learned that the owners of the place I live want to raise my rent. On top of that I ran out of money this past Monday for the first time in my life. Either way, I keep doing what I'm doing and hunkered down and signed up for some OT. I also get 40 hours of holiday pay between Nov and Dec and I get 3 paychecks in Dec (I plan my bills on 2 paychecks a month). Things were really starting to pile up. Well I found a beautiful place that my girl's landlord owns and he wants $200 LESS than what I'm paying now! On top of that I checked me mail last night and had a check for $2200 from Workers Comp for my knee injury that I had no idea about! The Dr. says I have a 2% permenant disability from it, so that check is the firt installment!! I now have money for my bankruptcy, my move, and all my drugs leading up to the show and the show!! This is the stuff I talk about when I say when things get bad I just keep on pushing forward since you never know when something will fall onto your lap. Just thought I'd share my story with you guys.

There is always a silver lining....money comes and goes...I used to make a pretty good income but I quit because I was miserable....I get my bills paid now...and not much else is left....but Im 1000 times happier...

I'm glad good luck has swung ur way

Thanks guys. Plang, I was in the same boat. I made between 160-180K a year, but I hated my life. The job now pays the bills, but I'm much happier and I actually enjoy going to work. I'm also 1000 times happier with my new career and my new girl.
Its strange, although I have all kinds of financial stress that I never had, I'm so much happier its really hard to believe!

dude glad 2 hear things r lookin up , theres 1 thing that holds true for everyone and everything for every bad there is a good , for every good theres a bad , this is life in a nut shell i started teachin my kids that at a very young age , some cultures express it as yin and yang . people that understand this concept live much happier lives . sorry 2 hear about the knee but glad it paid off with perfect timing.

Exactly... I was in the same situation. I don't make as much right now, but it will get better, and I'm way happier with my job. I'm much more active now, so gaining weight is a little harder, since I burn it all off, but cutting up will be much easier now. :sport:

I'm glad to hear you're in a good place, Dude. When I saw you the other day, you looked less stressed and much happier. It's nice to see the good guys win one.
