Not being able to find sturdy enough equipment

Does anybody else have the problem of when finding a piece of equipment they like , design and use wise , its always have major weak points?

For example , cable crossover machine handles 600lbs per side with a . But then the pullup / chinup bar , can only support 300lbs. I am sure that is with a safety factor most likely of x2 but cmon.. really only 300lbs?

I hate finding a nice piece of equipment and then paying extra for built in things in my equipment that I feel are sub quality.

I think I need to buy a welder.
