I'm having some carpal tunnel symptoms in both hands. It's been getting measurably worse each day for about the past 7-10days. I'm on Serostim HGH 4.5U/D and 1/2 way thru my third month. I'm on starting the 7th week of my cutting cycle ...(Deca/Sust/Durabolin/Prop....and just added winny last week).
I posted before about my feet going from a 10.5 to a 12 and my ring size going up a size so I'm sure it's the resopnse I've had to the HGH causing the carpal tunnel.
So I need advise on what to do. Stop entirely the HGH is what I've done so far,but shit, the changes in my muscles and bodyfat have exceeded my expectations from the HGH. If the CTS goes away,do ya'll think I can restart the HGH at a lower dose? Or do I need to just forget about it entirely? Anyone else ever have CTS problems? I'd definetly like to aviod surgery and the down time that would cause in missed training but if there is anyway around the CTS I'd love to stay on HGH even if I have to lower the dose. Any suggestions guys?

I agree with Presser. If it is the HGH then I would stop entirely. If you do decide to use it again then definately cut the does. It may be that you respond well to that drug and you don't need as much as everyone else to see the same results.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping I'm just supersensitive to HGH and can get by on a lower dose in the future and miss the sides. I've stopped it all together for now and pray this wrist/hand/nerve thing goes away.

Deca...I think it would be in your best interest to discontinue the HGH for now. You must be VERY sensitive to it. I would probably not try it again...CTS is a serious injury with a LONG recovery after surgery (my ex had surgery on hers). Not to mention I must have totally missed your post on your feet growing! damn bro..that would have been my wake-up call!
Its like Presser said..nothing is worth having irreversable effects in the long run. As for Fina and hairloss...I have gotten thinner...but I already have thin hair....it just amazes me the way the AAS effects people differently.

Hmmm, thats strange bro. Since I started HGH 2 months ago, all my joint pain is gone. Including the Dequarvains tenosinovitis in my laft wrist. Dequarvains is kind of like Carpal Tunnel, but it comes from inflamation of the tendons from you thumb instead of the tendons from your hand and fingers. I already had my right wrist operated on for it, about 5 years ago. Plus my lower back pain is almost non-existant, and the tendonitis in my right arm hasn't bothered me either. I would deffinatly stop using the GH if I was in your shoes though, at least until its better. But, I think I would go see your Dr also, and tell him that you have been using GH and the problems you are having. When/If you start using it again, I would drop the dosage slightly to 1mg (3iu) per day. Thats approximatly 17 mixed iu. Good luck bro, hope you get better soon!! Later

Thanks, bro,I know I should have been smarter but hell when your growing and dropping bf% at the same time that "denial" thing sets in hard and fast. ;) :D Buying XXL shirts for the 1st time was fun,but having to buy all new sized shoes....I should have seen it coming.

Napalm, that's a good idea. If it completly subsides I'm thinking even 2U/day if I restart. I'm not going to touch it though until things improve. They list CTS in the enclosed literature as a side so it must be fairly common. I haven't found much info yet on the time course for resolution but it's been 4 days since I stopped and the symptoms are not as severe. It's funny all my other aches/joints etc improved just like yours. I think the CTS though is due more to the actual growth of the tendon and subsequent bumping into the nerve vs an inflammatory process.

I read that in the literature also. I don't know how common it actually is though. Hopefully it gets better for you. Carpal tunnel sucks! I know several people who have had it, and had to have the release done. It seems to take forever for them to heal, and some still have problems even after the surgery. My mom had it, and had the release done about 15 years ago, and she still to this day can't type as she once could. Of course, medicine has came a long way in the last 15 years , and I am sure the surgery is better than it once was. Keep us informed on how its going bro. Maybe a little (or a lot of) Deca might help some!!! LOL, Later

Yea,I'm not a big fan of ANY kind of surgery after what I went through with my neck/voice ordeal last year. I like the idea of adding more Deca to the mix...... :""

first time on gh myself, but what he alludes to (joint pain) is a common side effect. best course is to stop until symptons subside and then continue (if you want). 4.5 IUs may also be too high a dosage for you, try backing off to a lower amount when you resume. hopefully you are taking a day or two off during the week? most follow 5 days on 2 off, or 2 on 1 off for injections, otherwise the joint pain is inevitable.

The arthalgias(joint pains) were really minor and overall less than w/o HGH.I know most people experience significant joint pain but I was getting CTS --tendons at the wrist impinging on the nerve= pain/numbness of thumb/index and long fingers. It was especially noticable with any gripping(driving car) or wrist flexion. I am happy to report that since stopping the HGH and wearing wrist slplints at night+ice therapy+anti-inflammatories that the symptoms of CTS are about 80% better I was taking the 4.5UED w/o a break. If my CTS completly resolve,I'm going to go with 5 days a week with a 2 day break and cut the dose to 2.5U like you suggested.

Good job bro...way to use your head...being big means nothing at all if you can't be healthy. Nobody is going to see your muscles when your laying in a hospital bed!.....take care of yourself bro............456
