'Rampage' Jackson is 'probably next in line' for a light heavyweight title shot

If you thought Jon Jones vs Ryan Bader was going to be a number one contender fight then it looks like you were wrong. At a recent Q & A session (via MMAFighting.com) UFC President Dana White proclaimed that Quinton Jackson is the guy who is most likely to earn the next shot at the light heavyweight strap. That is of course, dependent upon his getting through a tough challenge against Thiago Silva at UFC 130 over the Memorial Day weekend.

I think he will beat Thiago, and hes not the same fighter, but honestly how long can anyone be picking people up from the ground, to over there head, and slam the shit out of them back on the canvas? lower back problems anyone ? lol hes good he just needs a little more gas in his tank, if he had better cardio he would have with out a doubt ko'd rashads bitch ass, he had him really hurt and didnt go in for the kill, Thiago did the same thing against "suga" but they unfortunatley both gassed. Jones is a mad man and one day will be champ

I'm just referring to the body slams, he just doesn't seem to fight with the same intensity that he did back in Pride. Maybe it's just age catching up to him

Id rather see Jones fight Rampage and then that winner go for the title if thats how its gonna be. Im assuming Bader loses but you never know i guess.

Im going for Jones, but Bader is no slouch, he's undefeated, a great wrestler, and can knock someone out with either hand, so u def cant count him out
